my track was already haunted, but when i added ghost notes, the ghost from the new notes and the first ghost got into an argument and both left the song.
Not sure if flams are used by other instruments but with drumming it's a very specific stroke. It's essentially just playing a grace note with the alternate hand at almost the same time as the main stroke. It makes a more percussive and tactile sound because the two strokes interact on the surface of the drum like when you land at the same time as your friend while trampolining. We'd normally refer to quieter small beats that compliment the rhythm as ghost notes
But you can do music production if you want. It requires no talent these days. You just drag and drop stuff into a DAW and mess around until you think something sounds OK. Then you can call yourself a "producer". Nothing I'm saying is a lie. That's really all there is to it.

This video is great: short, straight to the point, informative, and the ad was at the end! This is what RUclips videos should be like. A great use of your time, without taking forever!
Best, quick, and concise tutorials on FL Studio on RUclips! Been watching random ones here and there lately, but I'm gonna finally subscribe once and for all for whenever I need some quick and small new techniques to incorporate.

Thank you for these short informative videos on musical composition that integrate the music into the lesson instead of pause-explain-play-pause-explain-play
Tip from a guitarist/bassist: Try pitch slides and volume swells as well. Sometimes (especially on bass) I might finger but not actually play the note an octave up from the target note, and slide down to the target note. The volume on the note slides in as the pitch slides down.
This channel is just so freaking good. I was huge into music production around a decade ago, but this makes me want to dust off FL Studio and start making stuff again.

Hi
In music theory these are either flams or grace notes!
i’m gonna edit that they really are most like ghost notes
Just about to say the same thing! We were taught grace notes, they’re so much fun to sneak in :)

Grace notes yes. Flam is wildly incorrect, get back to studying
Austin, if you click the flam option in FL it literally does exactly what is discussed in this video. I think you're the one who's incorrect boyo.
@johnwest6690 the fact you use FL studios for ypur terminology and not music theory shows how idiotic you are. You have zero clue what a flam is
Happy to be helping out Synthet and the community here. No pressure on getting pack anyone. Happy producing.
