If it makes you feel any better Mark and Lexie did last, just not in this world. They were the love of each others lives and they knew and admitted that just before Lexie died... 💔💔💔💔😭😭😭😭 But other than that, I'm sad about Japril too. Three out of four of my couples are either dead, or broken up now. Slexie, Japril and Jolex. I just hope Amelia and Link make it.

Sorry but NO. With Catherine Kepner using Jackson like a puppet and destroying everything. NO. Matthew is the true love of April, not Jackson.
Slexie ended, because Eric and Chyler both wanted to leave the show, and both agreed that their characters should be killed off.
Merder ended, because Patrick was leaving the show, and the only way to write him out, was to kill Derek, because Derek wouldn't just be an absentee father, and the romance between him and Mer would have felt cheapend with a divorce.
Calezona was great at first, but quickly became a train wreck. They didn't get back together, because Sara had chosen to leave the show, aparently because of how her character was being written.
Japril never had a reunion, because someone behind the scenes, thought it was a good idea to pair him up with Maggie, and to fire Sarah Drew.
Tenry never stood a chance, because he was a patient, but still heartbreaking.
Benly is still married.
Jolex is rock solid.
So only two couples remain.

april made the right choice by not telling jackson. he would've felt obligated to stay with her and he would resent her and himself for staying and that would destroy everything, including their child. but japril really should've been endgame

Not the smartest thing but I get where Jacksons heads at. The thing he thought about most was his child and April. He wanted out of the marriage but wanted to put their child first. It was at first a failure of a marriage don't get me wrong but he wanted to make sure his kid was provided for and had parents that loved him.

April was right here... he would have stayed for the baby and resented her ... even with that underlying love and care. He wanted that divorce...
I have to hand it to April for putting their kid first and not staying with Jackson because of kids. If they stayed together they’d never come back to each other again.
I think he loved and was to blinded by his pain of losing their child and how she needed time away and he needed her... they ruined this couple but it happens.... maybe one day they will reunite them...

I completely get April’s decision if she told him before the divorce he would of stayed with her out obligation he says it here that it would factored into his decision. Which it shouldn’t of. Kids are resilient and can deal with parent being separated. What you shouldn’t do is force yourself to stay with someone for the sake of a child. It’s not fair on you, your partner and on the child.

I think he was so hurt because he still loved her and if she had told him the baby would’ve probably brought them more closer now I understand why she didn’t tell him but I also know that they are a perfect match and should’ve stayed together.
The divorce was more for his ego than any other reason ...so yea he regretted the divorce and it added when he knew she was pregnant
@@devikas7707no it wasnt. She abandoned their marriage. There isn’t much else to it. She wasn’t there for him when he needed her and she just took off and kept going back and back again. He didn’t agree to be in a long distance relationship with a military person. That’s not a life that everyone is on board with.
@@boomds5602 sure but he did kind of regret the divorce? we see after he has second thoughts and the fact he never really moved on from her. he even says to Maggie when he's dating her that he was grieving his marriage to April and the bad timing, and the fact that they hadn't believed the same things but did now. I think at the time he gave up because he was angry and saw it as a means to hurt her the way she hurt him, even though later on he understood the Jordan situation more.

I’ll admit that they were once part of the best-couple group in grey’s, but I didn’t like jackson after their first child died. Both had the right to grieve but when april came back from iraq being strong and independent, jackson somehow found a way to make it about him not being able to decide for the both of them. He kept going on and on about april shutting him down when in fact, his ego was attacked by the new april kepner who can finally stand her ground, make her own decisions, and is not relying on anyone anymore. Jackson may not want to be known based on his family’s name, but his personality and attitude is slowly becoming his mother’s.
When you get married "I's" become "us". If a person is not willing to do that marriage is not for them. From a religious standpoint which April usually stand on she was wrong. You donot just leave your husband, it is written that if you are gonna be apart it should be by mutual consent and for a short time then come back together so you will not be tempted. Her husband needed her and she left without considering his needs. On the human factor aspect i get we grieve differently but a marriage has two people. She cannot leave her marriage over a year and then come back acting like nothing happened. That would be unfair to her spouse. It needed to have been handled differently.
@@Tannia2110 Yes I agree, but Jackson never conveyed his need for her to stay with him in order to grieve together. The time to have discussed this was when she initially approached him about going on the military tour of duty. Then when he does tell her that he needed to grieve with her and she tells him that she was there for him to grieve he tells her that he does not need to grieve with her anymore. Their main problem was communication. Jackson does not communicate things in the moment, he bottles up his emotions due to his ego and then it only comes out when he is upset. April on the other hand needed something bigger than their marriage to help her heal so she chose to save the lives of soldiers and survivors of combat areas. They both played a role in the demise of their marriage.
Forgive lengthy reply.... @@cl3140 Totally agree except on the fact that he never told her he did. He asked her actually what if he didn't want a wife who was deployed. The truth is she was largely changing their marriage it needed more of a discussion. You cannot be married and act single you're gonna have problems. He didn't marry an army doctor so it takes adjustment to become the spouse one especially one in an active combat zone. Not only that but she extended her tours three times I believe. He now would also have to deal with a long distant relationship. The truth is those are hard and it takes two people who are willing, ready and committed to making a work long distant. Remember when they were on the crappy signal phone call and there was the explosion and he couldn't get a hold of her for atleast a day. I cannot imagine that feeling of not knowing maybe because I am an overthinker myself who always assumes the worst case scenario. Finally if the person you choose to grief with is not your spouse I think that is grounds to reevaluate whether or not you really married the right person. A relationship in a marriage can never be just what one person wants that's a single life. Jackson actually considered going with her just to be with her. Those were all signs. Men don't always use their words and many times speak between their words. Ego can be a factor or just trying to not be a burden especially since she wanted to leave and it was not a discussion I wouldn't have said stay either.

april was right the entire time, jackson acted like a child when they were going through mourning. she lost her first baby and needed space, and he tried to make the entire thing about himself.
They are married and supposed to go through it together but she just shut him out. He was in pain too

I understand that he was in pain but it doesnt make anything better to attack someone thats going through the same pain just because they dont mourn the same way.
Both grieve differently, one needed space and one needed the other. Both were just stuck in their own world and grieve, that they didn’t think about what the other needed. Both were in the wrong.

I convinced myself that I would stop watching greys at season 5 or 6 (because this was the last season wherein Izzie and George was in) but then I gave it a try again for Lexie and Mark (ofcourse for Derek and Mer as well). Then Lexie and Mark died, so I told myself I would never watch another season/episode of grey. But April and Jackson happened and I love this couple but they ruined a perfect couple again.
Girl I haven't watched an episode of Gray's anatomy since the episode after Lexi and Mark died. I was done with that mess. When Mark died I was like nope. I've literally only watched clips and that's because I've been catching up on the April Jackson relationship

I love Burke and Cristiana 😍
She knew how losing their first baby broke him and she kept this from him. I think that's what hurt the most for him. Maybe he would or wouldn't have signed the divorce papers, but she still should have told him. I understand her reasoning somewhat, but if the roles were reversed and Jackson had kept something so big from her, she would have been mad too.
Actually that is why she didn't tell him during the divorce, because he would have not signed the papers and stayed in the marriage even though they would have been miserable, Jackson doesn't want to ever turn his back on his baby. He wouldn't want his child to go through what he went through without a father. Now what is interesting is that Jackson's father did not abandon him. He actually took Jackson with him when he left but Catherine went after him with the support of Harper Avery and they made Jackson's dad give him up or that would have been a scandal for the Harper Avery Foundation back then. However, I get the funny feeling that Catherine has never told Jackson that this is what happened.

@@boomds5602 Yes Harper Avery was Robert Avery's father. But Robert abandoned medicine and moved away to a remote location to run a small restaurant/bar. Harper didn't respect Robert, and instead recognized that Catherine could do what Robert failed to do, i.e. help run the Harper Avery Foundation. Harper also knew Catherine would raise Jackson to take over running the Foundation.

April let her emotions rule where logic should've prevailed, like it or not, he's the baby's father so he deserves to know and he deserves to be able to make a decision or at the VERY least a suggestion on where they go from there, point blank, period. Aprils fears and her anger is/are understood but ultimately she was wrong.
@EC EC woah who said i hate April? I said she's in the wrong for not telling him, which she is. It's his decision to want to stay in his child's life just like it's her decision to not be with him, it's not an impossible situation, just an uncomfortable one she doesn't want to be in.

I don’t understand what all the hype is about with April & Jackson cuz it was ‘cute’ in the beginning when they were good friends, then they slept together at their Medical Boards in San Francisco which resulted in April failing...then we watched her downward spiral with all of her partying & erratic behaviour but Jackson was still by her side - the true gentleman that he is. She was a “nut job” & proved that over n over again every time that they slept together, she would make those outlandish comparisons to “dessert carts” & “car accidents”...hurting Jackson’s feelings especially when they had that pregnancy scare & he was all in, wanting to marry her...when they got the results, she was “thanking Jesus!” LoL I was glad that he walked away from her realizing that this relationship wasn’t going to work. I know they both tried out different relationships & Jackson followed what Sloan taught him, “follow your heart & say it ‘loud n proud Son!’ that is why he stood up at April’s wedding to Mathew running off with the bride. It was a roller coaster ride from there, Jackson’s first “red flag” should’ve been on their plane ride to meet her parents when April was trying to manipulate him into doing the prayers at the dinner to appease her family. I know that this clip showing how she hid her pregnancy from him is heart wrenching, however, she brought it on herself cuz this is what she wanted...whatever April wants, April gets - it is her way or NO way!! I’m definitely not an April Kepner fan ever since her obvious “crush” on Derek which resulted in him being shot in that bloody massacre plus how can we forget that it was her fault that it was her patient, Mrs. Clark, whom she allowed Lexi & Richard to take the fall for her, never owning her mistake or admitting guilt for her fatal error. I’m glad that April got her ‘happily ever after’ with Mathew cuz they were meant to be together!!
Agree with you, but you can't blame Derek being shot on her bursting into the Scene.
Just because the Dude lowered his Gun for a second didin't mean he wasn't gonna shoot Derek, he just hesitated. Later on he admits he would also shoot Webber immediately, only thing that kept him from doing so was the fact he only had one bullet left.
I hate her character and i feel actually sorry for Matthew, he too deserves better than April.
Finally, someone said the things I felt about Jackson. Everyone always keeps saying that he punished her for leaving to army, but I guess he realized that he was always the one giving in the relation.
Eshwari G if that’s the case he wouldn’t have given up so easily. He couldn’t see she was depressed. He’s a doctor and instead of letting her heal in her own way he gets upset. She wanted to help people because she couldn’t help her baby. He berated her on her faith and values because she wanted her children to grow up Christian and she didn’t want them to be on the Avery board at 13. They should’ve never gotten married because he couldn’t offer her his support most of the time

But.. What about Jackson? Why is it not valid for him to say that he needed her to heal..? She got, what she needed. He never did.. Instead, she left him alone to deal with the grief without what he needed to deal with it. It hurt him deeply. And he has every right to feel upset over that.
Bonnesig he didn’t want help. He went back to work almost immediately. He lost a child of course but it’s different for her. She will always feel like it was her fault or it was something that she did so going to Jordan helped her. Jackson didn’t want to go and he refused to understand why she went. And when he decided to go he was too late. Just like Callie and Arizona. He would’ve gone and he would’ve hated it. He threw himself into his work and when she returned he decided he didn’t want to be married anymore. Because he decided the marriage wasn’t worth it. He’s always hot and cold with her. When she first got engaged to Matthew she asked him if there was any reason why she shouldn’t marry him and he didn’t say anything until the actual wedding. She’s happy with Matthew now but so many years were wasted. Jackson always gets what he wants and April is the one who gets bashed.

Jessica S I totally agree! The last couple of weeks I started rewatching Grey's from the beginning. The first seasons were perfect. Miranda was snapping at everyone and was tough,not serious shit had happened and everything was fine for the orininal interns. I watched s8 finale a couple days ago where Mark and Lexie died. Until that point things were great. They would end up together. Their deaths were some of the most heartbreaking moments for me from the show. Now I dont enjoy watching the show as much. I mean I love it but it's not the same. Everyone is dead or gone. And that sucks!

Let’s be for real here April needs to make up her damn mind on who she’s loves. It’s either Jackson or Matthew. She blamed Jackson for losing her V card when she gave him the go ahead he even stopped and asked if she was sure and she said yes. I’m surprised Matthew married her again after she left his ass at the altar. She acts like Jackson has no legal rights to the baby when Jackson actually the proper guy that will take care of you and the baby. She blamed him for their first child that was stillborn when it wasn’t anyone fault. Sometimes bad stuff happens. I’m really glad April left because she got annoying around season 9,10,11,12,13,14. All she did was whine and be spiteful towards Jackson.

is wonderful the way she say "my child", is always her. her trauma with her first child, her trauma with good, her trip to a warzone, and suddenly there is her husband. and she realize isn't only her, and she abandont her husbend. I stay with Jakson, the selfishness of April is a problem and sooner or later she will push Jackson away from his child

If April behave so badly in my office, screaming, shouting, talking so loudly, doesn't know her work, stammering cos of her work insecurity ... I will not hesitate to dismiss her permanently. Her behaviour and attitude is totally uncalled for. That's why any relationship between colleagues are a HUGE NO.
We totally do not allow any kissing, sex in the office. Anyone doing that is dismissed. This clause is clearly stated in employment contract AND employee handbook. It's also mentioned at the onboarding, whereby each employee acknowledge that they have read, understood and accepted the conditions AND any disciplinary action taken whatsoever.
We have terminated 50 employees due to them having sex in conference room, toilets, etc. Display of their names + designation on notice board. This is to remind them of the consequences.

She wasnt trying to keep him out of the baby's life. She just didn't want him to stay married to her just cause she was pregnant. She want him to stay married for her. People who refuse to leave each other just to try to keep the family together are stupid and it makes the kids feel awful. They can divorce and still have the kid.

With all due respect, often failed and toxic marriage has had this series. April and Jackson should NEVER have been married and this has been a divine punishment for leaving Matthew standing on the altar. Jackson has pounded her nonstop, Catherine Avery tried to take custody of Harriet when April gave birth. What a family. So they brought Matthew back and returned the waters to his channel.

They brought the worst of them together, I don't understand how can you like this couple they couldn't stop fighting about everything and they judge each other's beliefs all the time
But they grew if they got back together now it would be less toxic. They were the definition of right people wrong time. After everything with Samuel and religion it strained their beautiful bond. Now that wouldn’t be a problem. They had something amazing but life messed it up. It doesn’t mean they were toxic from the jump.

I really hated April Kepners character after her and Jackson got together, she was horrible after they slept together and stayed that way for at least 2 seasons because I'm just watching season 12 and still can't stand her lol.
Thank you I liked her first but after they slept together she got so annoying. I stopped watching after season 10.
April was the worst! Actually all the girls in this show were selfish!
