Hi there, the launch of the C evolution in the US is planned for 2017. Please contact your local BMW Motorrad dealer or our colleagues from BMW Motorrad USA for more information. All the best, Joerg of the BMW Motorrad Team
Hi Chris, the height is 765mm with the regular seat and 785mm with comfort seat. This should be fine for lots of our interested customers. Try a testride and let us know what you think. All the best Joerg of the BMW Motorrad Team
Hi Neil, unfortunately at the moment Australia is still not on the list for a launch. If so we would let you know immediately. All the best Joerg of the BMW Motorrad Team
I'll have to agree with Noel, led headlights should be at least optional. Now, as a current C-Evolution owners/riders, do we get the BMW high-voltage retrofit program on the C-Evolution the same way as our mates on the BMW i3? How much would it cost to upgrade current C-Evo to the new 94Ah cells and firmware update? Where can we check the new technical data for this new 2016 version? @BMW Motorrad, keep up the good work!!!
Hi Joao, there is no information about such a program available yet. Please contact your local BMW Motorrad dealer. They would let you know if so. All the best Joerg of the BMW Motorrad Team
Thank you Joerg. Please pass the message to who has the power to decide such things. An upgrade program for the C-Evo just like for the i3 would be most welcome. Cheers. prius-pt.com/cafe/forums/171.aspx

Nice work BMW! If my wallet allowed the purchase i'd have one as my daily commutor. Great styling, great range, great acceleration in an electric package.
Hi there, thanks for asking! • Charging time at 220 V / 12 A (standard): approx. 4:30 h for 100%; 80% in approx. 3:50 h • Charging time at 220 V / 16 A (Mode3 cable): approx. 4:10 h for 100%; 80% in approx. 3:30 h Here are all information: bit.ly/2rQkMIy All the best, Stefanie of the BMW Motorrad Team
This Friday it will be 4 weeks since my BMW C-Evolution went to service shop on a flatbed truck for refusing to take charge into the battery. 4 weeks, no less, is apparently what it takes for BMW to gather spare parts to repair its bikes. Unbelievable. A bike that is supposed to be the flagship of urban mobility, and so little care and respect for its customers. If this was for a out-of-production model I would understand. But this bike is being manufactured at this date, it's a current model, how hard can it be to gather the necessary parts for the repair? Great bike + terrible service under warranty period = very unsatisfied customer.
Dear Joao, our responsible colleagues would like to have a closer look into this issue. Please provide us with some more details and send the chassis-no., your BMW Motorrad dealer and a copy of your complaint to motorrad@bmw.de Thank you very much. Joerg of the BMW Motorrad Team
+BMW Motorrad, Yesterday, Oct 7th, the BMW service shop called me to let me know the bike was repaired and ready for pickup. Too bad my last request sent by email to do a proper test to the battery state of health and charging capacity was ignored. I therefore insisted the test was conducted to make sure the battery had not suffered from the charger malfunction before accepting the bike back. The said test will be done Monday morning, so trusting the result will be "Battery is OK" I will be back on 2 wheels starting that day. Fingers crossed, and thanks for your assistance with the local dealer service shop!
All that makes the new BMW 40% less range than a standard ZEV Electric LRC electric motor scooter and 1/2 the range of the new ZEV LRC-X with 298 km range that is also 32 kmh faster. Both models far less money and a lot lighter.
I knew this was coming, 160km range is decent. Now, still halogen headlights? You really need to use LED lightning everywhere, this is an EV you know?, every energy saving is important. Besides this is not a cheap bike, 200€-300€ for LED headlights won't hit the price point noticeably. Speaking of which, how much do you charge for the new model? I'm guessing you'll keep the 15,000€ for the 26kw model and cut the 11kw model to say... 11,000€?
Hi Noel, please contact your local BMW Motorrad dealer for more information regarding the prizing. The C evolution comes with LED daytime running light and LED turn indicators. All the best Joerg of the BMW Motorrad Team
I never felt like I paid too much for my BMW. I rode a R1200RT and it was simply better than the competition. Is it more expensive? Well, what exactly IS the competition for a R1200RT? Few motorcycles even try to be in that segment.
It boggles my mind that they would cheap out on a bike like this and equip it with crappy old fashioned halogen headlight bulbs. Any modern bike, especially a fully electric bike, should have LED lighting throughout, no more power hungry incandescent bulbs. Ridiculous design decision there. Otherwise, looks pretty good. Not available in my part of the world.
Not exactly practical when Eva can barely get her feet on the ground! I think especially with scooters, BMW needs to consider a lot of it's customers are well under the six foot mark!

Very good. How many charges does the bat ensures before lose 70% of full capacity? Thanks

"It has 0-50kmph in 2.8 seconds and that will beat almost anything else at the traffic light" - except for another motorbike or modern hot-hatch.
or a 1992 honda civic si
I didn't get your point. The examples you gave are the reason for the word "almost". Everything is ok.

nice to see this taken care of publicly, I see this was 10 months ago any other issues since?
Why the brand does not want to sell it in Latin America? I think all stick to this brand for years. Absolutely love all of their products
