The juxtaposition of your dog snoring through a violent storm is hilarious. Also appreciate the fact that you didn't get all hysterical like so many other storm chasers. You stayed calm which allows the viewer to better perceive the storm on its own merits. We don't need a hysterical play-by-play description of the obvious. So thank you for that.

Right. What does that say about an animals 6th sense of incoming weather, though? Or, is it just that it's chased enough storms it isn't bothered anymore?

His whole life revolves around extreme weather, not to mention one of the nicest guys, and loves to teach what he knows. We honestly need more like Reed that is passionate about the science side of tornadoes. I understand he gets crazy literally every time, but its just who he is, he is that passionate about it. @@donny5318 I do love his weather briefings, and I agree that he is a great educator who has contributed a lot to the science. But it is also a worthy criticism of him that he chooses to yell and scream. Even when he is giving instruction or asking a question to someone else, it is always a scream if a tornado is in view. One cannot merely chalk it all up to "passion" as it is important to maintain some level of composure after years of experience.

This is a good example of why you need to not focus on one tornado, or there might be another right behind you. When I was working back in the early 90's, a tornado came through, and one of the guys watched cross the highway. But what he didn't see was a second one coming up from behind. It twirled him like a top, before leaving him there a little worse for wear. It put him in the hospital with a story to tell.

My goodness. The last minute of your footage was both ominous and spectacular. I am not sure I have ever seen a cloud rotation produce that many funnels at once. Thank you for your work.

I live in Mount Ayr. That whole storm was pretty scary, bad hail damage too.

My husband's uncle was a JP there in 70s and 80s. Neill Chicken. Family farm is by Arispe, so I was especially interested in this video. Visited the area many times. 😊

Neat. So sad to watch all the damage. I was glued to RUclips most of Fri-Sat-Sun watching everything unfold. It looks like the next storm will be here on Tuesday the 30th and my little town is right over the transition line they're predicting for level 2 and level 3 risks. Then on Thursday we're supposed to get some strong winds and rain again. The mid-west is going to have a wild ride for the back half of April.

I wanted to pop in and give you guys a shout out and a thank you for what you do!! As Reed would say, "Never Stop Chasing." Stay safe though😊💞🌪.
    Keep chasing but stay safe!!
