Hello. I love holograms. But i have a small problem with your diy kits and thats a big problem. I want to make holograms that you can see without the original laser, just like the ones you can buy in hologram shops. what would i need for that? other films? chemicals? different laser? please tell me. THX
Actually, the extension reflection hologram kit does produce real holograms. By reflection, we mean the image is viewable in white, or ordinary point source light. We're not talking about "Pepper's ghost" reflection fake holograms.
If you got the first kit, by now, I'm sure you've figured out you can actually turn the film plate holder around, and have the film between the object, and the laser, to make the white light viewable holograms. However, the extention hologram kit is designed to make even better reflection holograms. I think it has a 5mW diode laser, for larger images, and objects. Unfortunately, all of the kits were recently discontinued. However, you may still find some kits on Ebay. Just be sure to ask the seller how long they've had it, so you're sure to get film that's not more than about 3 years old. I have the original kit, and was lucky enough to buy the colour kit, the very last day they were available. By now, I hope you've been able to make some reflection holograms.

The answer would be to use the Reflection hologram extension kit. Those are visible in ordinary white light.
That's even much more cheaper
But technically it's not exactly called a hologram

@@ThomasGrillo How about just the individual components from the kits? Like if I wanted the srtonger laser or just the film?
