    Hi! Would like to ask if you bake 2 sheets at the same time? Do you need to adjust the baking time for more than 1 sheet?

      Hi! I used 2 baking sheets, just right next to each other - middle rack. You might need to adjust the baking time if you are planning to use the top rack too. I'm not sure how long it might take, but I would check at the 20 minute mark if it reached the desired color (don't open the oven door) and eyeball from there (set a timer so you can replicate the results).

      Hi! Sorry late reply. Kindly check oven temperature. Trial and error works as we might have different ovens too. Also please check the consistency of the meringue, it has to be stable when you mix in the nuts. Thank you! 🤗

    If I want the cookie to be more soft and chewy, what should I do?

      Meringue is meant to be crunchy and crispy, other wise if it’s soft/chewy it would be undercooked. U would probably need to use another cookie base

    i made this today, mejo nahirapan lng ako sa pinaka biscuit nababasag xa manipis cgro pagkakagawa ko tska mas muka xang meringue kesa biscuit, ano kayang mali? pero un lasa naman masarap! thank u po😊

      It is cashew-meringue so it's okay. Try to remove one "sacrificial" meringue, if it doesn't peel easily then it means you have to cool it some more. Two egg whites in this recipe would yield 24 pcs - 2 inches in diameter so when you sandwich them, it becomes 1 dozen silvanas. :)

      Hi! I haven't tried cooking the filling over direct heat, even on low fire. You can try but I don't know if it will yield the same results. 🤗

    I noticed that you put in white sugar for the buttercream filling, while in the ingredients you said it's powdered sugar. I wonder if it makes a difference?

      Hi! I use the Planters brand of roasted cashews for this recipe. Any brand of roasted cashews will do. If you have raw cashews, just simply follow this link, it will only take around 3-5mins www.culinaryhill.com/how-to-roast-cashews/
      You can try using a food processor or finely chop the cashews into smaller pieces for this.

      Hi! I usually chill freshly made silvanas for 30 minutes to 1 hour to make the filling firmer before serving them. I store silvanas in a sealed container in the freezer, it will last for a long time and will retain its crispiness, but I suggest consuming it within 2 weeks. ❤

      Hi! You can try to observe the change in consistency (check video @ 3:00 onwards) if you don't have a candy thermometer. It is a lot safer if you use a candy thermometer or a food thermometer though since we're working with raw eggs. I hope I was able to help. 🤗
