if you consistently got good rolls at your fully leveled shops it would be REALLY easy to print money without even going in. especially if you started with 1k gold or so. please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not max venders. check services for best rolled righteous or divine item, then go look at the trade market for the cheapest bad roll item you need, buy one ingot. purchase the service item, flip it for profit. 1)Find the best roll at vendor service 2)Find the worst roll at trade market 3)??? 4)Profit
Getting 15 pelts is an insane requirement. Talking about fetch quest stuff, I've never seen spider silk in my whole life and I've counted about 120 GIant Spider kills.
One of the recent changes they made in DaD was making better gear more available through HR being free and I love that change. I hope they keep this because there’s no way I can pay the exorbitant cost of the fetch quests to be able to level my traders to get good gear from them. I just don’t have that kinda time. With that being said though, it would be so awesome to be able to get to level the traders all the way up to be able to craft cool gear though.
My only gripe is some of the quests are brutal, two quests require a total of 25 wisps, in a map where there are only 4 wisps, one further away from the other 3 and one of them always kills itself on a spike trap, they really could replace like 20 skeletons with wisps and there would still be a lot of skeletons remaining while having a healthier amount of wisps for everyone. Same goes for spider silk, there are like what...1 giant spider per GC map and only in specific ones, as well as occassionally one spider in ruins. Mercy.
For the 50 kills quest you can also kill your character with your own skills/spells and it counts as a kill ex Rogue with your Caldrops , Wiz with fireball, warlock etc etc
I learned that it chooses items from top to bottom when submitting quest items. So you can rearrange your items to prevent handing in something that you wanna keep, lil tip
@onepeg With regard to the blue weapon quest for weaponsmith, Since Frany axes and Throwing knives drop in stacks of two, you can ALT drag the stack apart and double the turn in value.
I'll quest six patches from now when they fix inefficiencies and optimize questing. Like fixing drop rates, partial turn ins etc. Also, make rogue utility actually fun.
I did not know you use silver ingots for the legendary craft weapons now. I was legitimately looking to see what you would get later in in the quests to buy and craft but couldn't find anything on the wiki so I did not know if making silver ingots too was worth it, but now I know thabk you so much onepeg

theres an issue for people who like to play multiple characters. the questing system kinda forces you into maining one class. it would be really awesome if it was account wide, or at the very least, allow us to transfer "looted" items between our characters and allow partial hand-ins.
@@DarthSidious- because rogue is the rat class. You can just eat out all the quest items. I play rogue and have my vendors on loved with only a couple left like the beserker slayer one, the wolf pelts, the legendary gems and the Lucy king. So 4 left to do.

the only issue ive seen with the quests is the bedtime story quest theres only 2 spawns ik of for wisps and the entire map rushes the spawns constanty i was able to kill the cockatrice and wolfs in 2 games but the wisps? 15 games in and i have 3
Anyone else having issues with things changing from loot state looted to loot state handled even though you didn’t bring those things back in? I had 15 goblin ears that were unusable by the time I got the 20 goblin ear quest smh only 8 were usable.
Questing should be decently grindy so that people don't burn through them too fast, but some of these quests are poorly balanced. Just know this is their first iteration and things will be changed as needed.
So far I've completed only the Weaponsmith, Woodman, and Goblin quest lines. I can call each of them worth it, for sure, but the Tailor and Leatherworker have absolutely insane quest requirements.
So can I buy ingots in trade chat for the quest or do they need to be special and looted like Rare Weapon/cap/campfire quest. Also thanks for the tips, definitely learned a lot

I mined 10 ingots on ruins before they changed the amount it takes to make one then got lucky when a golden key dropped from a high roller skeleton champion. Like a day later some one offered 10 ingots for a golden key and … BOOM!
The quests are nice and are a good addition to the game but I really dont like them being class specific. The quests are taking me for fucking ever and I used to play tons of different classes but I feel locked into my class choice from the beginning of wipe. I dont want to miss quest progress on my main class considering that I have only found 3 pelts period this wipe so I probably wont even get every quest done in the first place. If they just made it so we could incrementally hand in quests items and make the quests account wide I'd be a happy camper.
I swear I can’t find Skelton bones to save my life idu why I’m starting to think maybe the luck perk on bard is screwing me by giving me the rarer loots instead of the lower tier quest items.
I get tons of gear that are worth so much money the only issue is that I am just too lazy to sit in the trade chat waiting to get the price I deserve on the gear I sell so I normally under sell to get rid of them. However I love the game so I am doing the quests for the quests itself not the gear and stuff
When the game was way more popular it use to be so much easier to sell items on the market now it just takes to much time and effort imo hopefully the devs can get alot of people to play again
If you get good rolls people will buy them. Period.. if not the merchant offers more money for weapons/armor now so u can just vendor all the items with shitty rolls

The quests with insane low drop chances are kinda stupid. Also 15 lich kills is a stupid quest. Out of my past 30 inferno runs I have seen the lich like 3 or 4 times. Half of those we spawned so far away and/or ran into teams on the way to the lich we couldn't even attempt it. Centaur hoof with a less than 1% drop rate? Yea that is dumb. A lot of those end quests will literally only ever be completed by streamers or people who play 16 hours a day.

Quest system is bad atm, half of it is RNG half of it is extreme grind and what is my reward for doing it? The ability to craft and buy stuff the same as before the "quest patch" not to mention it's per character so this needs to be done for each one. Like most things iron mace does it had 0 thought put into it.
The only quests I will not do are the ones that require me to go into the ruins and crypt. I am a solo only player and cannot stand trying to survive being chased downed by teams.

The rewards are worth it yes, but its not challenging in any way its tedious, its a grind, i prey to RNG that a rusty broken short sword will and drop and fuck anyone who points to the wiki were it says 5%. I spend time playing the game in a way that isnt enjoyable just cause i want better shops and that stash tab but im about done with this garbage.

If you stack them with a "Handled" item, all items in the stack becomes "Handled"

I got lucky and got a golden key from the skelly champ in normal goblin caves. Sold that thing straight away for 15 gold ingots.

play as a rogue and I got the same issue killed at least 900 skeletons by now with only 5 bones even seen

It isnt a gamble cuz you can see the rolls before you craft and gold isnt that hard to mine or to purchase, 10k pretty easy to make rn

If you go down the solo only path, at some point you will have to consider going to ruins/crypts solo. It is doable and also it is more profitable.

These quests are dumb and unachievable for the soloist. Of course a streamer is going to have no problem doing them.
Ive done nearly all quests solo. The last few are a little rough to be fair, legendary gems and 15 wolf pelts kinda crazy.
