      Yeah, I don't mind the tail so much, I'm still looking around at options, although I think my wrenching time might get absorbed into an 80s Yamaha restoration I am in the middle of organising for the channel.

    Could you measure for me the width of the handle bars from end to end if you ignore the mirrors and slide guards? I have a skinny door but I already put my deposit and I'm praying it'll fit. My r1 did.

      75cm excluding the bar end (essentially from edge of grip to grip) 90cm including the bar end mirrors turned in to make it as narrow as possible.

      I'd say pretty similiar, this was the only one I could find to buy of any brand and I had to get it sent from Australia to me in New Zealand. Easy install really.

      With the OEM guard, the last step on the installing guide, did you manage to get the cable tie off the guard such that its not touching it?
