Korean cold noodles legit. Especially during the summer heat. The hot part mentioned in the video is the meat you eat with the dish. The cold noodle bowl itself is literally icy cold

Hot and cold is meaning for the combination of hot barbecued meat and cold noodles I believe. Actually I also have tried the cold noodles before and my First impression is the same like you guys but when i tried, the taste is amazing , the noodles is a bit chewy and it really goes well with barbecued pork

You might also wanna check out the Twin series. Josh and Ollie took Rev. Chris and Major Charles (I think he's a Colonel now) to Korea. It includes lots of food, Korean military activities, health check up, "Twin tournament", etc. One of my favorite thing about that series is tribute song, The Soldier and the Priest that Crazy Johnny sang with Ollie, and I think Josh, as background singers.

냉면 맛있는데.. 여름에 더워서 입맛 없을때 먹으면 좋음. 냉면.비빔국수 이런거 여름에 새콤달콤하게 먹으면 좋은데
식문화가 다르니 생소할수 있긴 하지. 그리고 차갑다고 해서 안매운건 아님. 맵게 먹으려면 얼마든지 맵게 먹을수 있음.

the broth is cold. they use some of the broth and turns it into ice. usually a summertime dish.

I think the 'hot' part means spicy. Cold noodle(냉면) is usually little bit spicy and cold

I bought Soju to try here in Sweden, thanks to this series, it’s really good, the one I tried first tastes like a lighter version of Absolut vodka. Next time I’m going to try the fruity one 😊.
I love watching Korean Englishman, I’ve watched almost every episode (+ JOLLY). The only “downside” is that they make so damn hungry and wanting to taste Korean food, a bit of a task here where I’m at in Sweden 😏.
