@@joecool97 This show made it to reruns? BTW I don't think it's syndication if it's rerun on cable television. Syndication applies to stations of free television (which means the commercial networks like UPN, NBC, Fox, ABC, MyNetworkTV). Now shows sometimes do rerun on the free networks themselves.
Why would an 18 year-old senior who'll be presumably be graduating in a few months or less be fighting so hard to drop out? Meh, I don't know how realistic this storyline is, but it was an interesting show, nonetheless. I never knew this sitcom existed before tonight.
@@BigValley-h5c I can understand if the student lacks the credits and won't graduate on time even if they do continue to go to school. I'm referring to when a student who is actually expected to graduate in a few months rallies to quit high school.There was no talk of this dude being in danger of not graduating at the end of the school year.
@@tincredible that I don’t know. I’m not sure. Another girl in the class also withdrew as well. It was so strange. I ended up being a coworker of hers about two years later while I was studying in college.
I grew up loving & respecting all these actors & I remember this show h/e; now that I'm grown & know better, in my opinion, there's no way that Legendary Comedian Flip Wilson jokes didn't get cut bc 2 episodes in, there's not much reflection of Flip nor jokes that Black's of that era told & wasn't no Black teens yearning to go to Europe to date!!! So unrealistic & not relatable! In my opinion the show was pretty bland for our treasured & well respected entertainers!
I love this show so much. RIP to Flip Wilson, Della Reese and Kristoff St John.

Back in high school, there was a guy in my class who was a senior that DID drop out. So, it can happen.
