I was really impressed with this little seaside amusement park and was way better than expected, the theming is great, the rides are good and the Go-Kart track is the best in the UK which is located inside an amusement park
The whole park has a real nice feel about it, it’s clean and tidy, modern, great all round fun for the whole family and dogs are allowed which is a huge bonus for us, there’s so much to do here including an amazing indoor area

One thing I totally forgot to mention in the vlog is that before the Go-Kart track was added they had a Log Flume and a Pinfari Looper rollercoaster which are both now at Clacton Pier

Codona's is a lovely park with a cracking looking waltzer, shame you never had time for Arbroth they have a nice waltzer as well.

Until a few years ago there was a Pinfari Looper where the Big Apple is now (The looper went down south. Brighton maybe - can’t remember). But Cardona’s need a better coaster on that roof - even if it’s a Pinfari Zyclon - or the more modern equivalent.
Nice video, ain't been down to Codonas for years. Used to go as a kid with mates, was thee place to be. But going with mates again tonight many years later. Should be a blast.

Codona's is really nice, kinda reminds of a small park you'd find in America, like Funspot! Just with out a wooden coaster 😆
It's a just a shame that they removed so many rides for that MASSIVE go Kart track!
Come to think of it I completely forgot to mention that the Log Flume and the Pinfari looper at Clacton Pier came from here lol 😂
They had a wooden coaster back in the 70s - wild mouse, and petrol karts, of course. and swing gym things that were awesome but knackering. I used to visit my grandparents in Aberdeen when I was a kid and a trip or two to the carnies (it was known as The Carnival, or Carny back then, as far as I can remember) was always a requirement.

Hi, Great Video content as usual so keep up the good work. 2 questions I do have is what would you suggest to theme parks either how many times you can go on a roller coaster like a 2 lap special or increasing the ride times on fair rides, I know it depends how busy places get but thought id ask.

Certainly looks like a good little place, especially with that Go-Karting track, the bowling/mini-golf/bar complex, and the Drop Tower and other rides by the water! Would be nice if they could fit a nice big coaster in there as well, but it's definite proof that you don't necessarily need a budget of millions to have a park that's nicely-kept and well-themed with a good selection of things.
Totally agree, some of the smaller well kept places are just as good as the bigger parks
They did have a bigger coaster called the looping star, where the caterpillar ride was but they sold it to a place in Essex also back in like 2012 they had another medium size coaster called the crazy train but it stopped working one day so they got rid of it but it never came back, I was devastated because it was one of my favourites but yeah they did have one but not anymore

Condona's I feel could do with a main attraction just like the looping coaster they used to have...🙄

The £25.99 seems expensive on the face of it but the go carts are included for one ride (or the soft play or laser tag) and you get either a pizza or macaroni cheese included as well as a round of mini golf. If you break it down, it’s not too bad. Expensive for us as a family of 5 but maybe once a year we can justify it
Arbroath is better than Aberdeen gutted use didn't go there tilly would of loved it dogs welcome in the amusements use should try Burntisland fair in the summer but it can get very busy. Good to see use in Scotland 💞💞
I’m from Aberdeen, and to be honest.. only thing Aberdeen is good for is shopping centres… everything else is acc dreadful🤣

Andy wear the apple coaster on roof is that use to be wear they had their looping pinfari coaster looping star Andy u never done the dodgems
Codonas used to have a proper Coaster and a bunch of arcade machines, but they got rid of lots of the latter and the former was tossed south and replaced by that generic Big Apple thing.
Yeah the “proper coaster” went to Clacton Pier

@@Coaster_Crazyhi do the go- karts speed up by themselves or do you control it? Also is there a brake pedal? What if you hit the car in front or the side?
Do they let you just walk on with a camera here like Paultons park or do you need permission to film on the rides?

Hi please can you try and visit Eden camp it’s a ww2 museum there’s different huts about the war my favourite hut is the blitz. It’s in a town called malton north Yorkshire. And also great video.

it’s awkward seeing my home park on here… I can confirm that the Codona’s company is bloody dreadful! The staff are often not paid a single penny, are treated horribly and the “park” has changed so much all to make way for the bloody go karts… Almost half of the bloody park was removed to make way for the go karts, which when they first opened, required a driving license to go on
