To be fair, the Montana was in a position which allowed him to deal a lot of damage to the Preussen, so technically that Montana ruined it. The enemy Preussen just finished it off.

So the ever crafty Flambass is slipping a ringer in on Jingles! The Mighty One may have difficulties identifying ships in replay mode, but he didn't have any problem identifying exceptional play from an anonymous player. Much praise for His MIghtyness for heaping well deserved accolades on the fine martial artistry of the Daring player!
That was a good game. These are definitely my favorite types of battles. Where a team just played better than the other one. You know, unicorn games, lol.

Back when I actually played this game and mained destroyers, I usually turned the game off for the day out of embarrassment if I allowed myself to get done in by a torpedo. I feel that guys pain so acutely.
18:00 If I see that correctly, one cap yields 40points per Minute? So at 2.5mins left, it would have been enough to "just" reset the Ohio, because in 2.5Minutes (that is probably 178 Moments in imperial?) they would have made 200 points with 2 caps. The margin would have been around 26 points, so they could have even gotten C around 20secs before they end. But of course that would almost be equally dangerous, if/once the Cruiser had arrived in C.
In his place, I'd gone to sink the Montana with my next torp salvo after taking the first cap and THEN gone center. Never leave a lone ship on your flank; it might be what causes your defeat, the annoying lone target that you leave untouched because you think, "ah, it is only one ship, it's not a threat" Although I admit that taking that close B cap was very tempting, especially on some maps where they are so close to eachother and given that the enemy wasn't getting close, it was always more points. In fact, in that case it helped him win the game but think about the damage that he could have spared to his allies, had he sunk the Montana first, because ships afloat are points in YOUR team counter and not on the enemy's... I think here it was a 50-50 chances of each method being right or wrong and If refer to the comments, it was Flambass and he generally knows what he's doing.
The Des Moines was shadowing Barbie hoping for a smoke. It was still a bad play he had no out after the short smoke dissipated the island was too far away and you shouldn’t do that with a UK DD anyway. Barbie kinda freaked out at the end but you can’t blame him for that otherwise flawless. Every move was calculated and executed to precision, very well played.
Anyone ever wonder if sometimes Jingles purposely gets some things wrong just to mess with people? Ex, the Montana killing the Preußen when it was clearly the enemy Preußen. Food for thought.

"Kung Fu Barbie" reminds me of an old anime called "Kenichi the mightiest disciple". There was a heroine who looked a bit like a Barbie doll, but only in the sense that she was a blue-eyed blonde. Anatomy-wise and character-wise it was a different deal.
I can't quite put my finger on it but I feel that there are more potato Yoshino players than the other premium ships. Like the last time Jingles feature that has a Yoshino in it. You can pretty comfortable to say if you see Yoshino they will more than likely another potato.
why I watch Jingles? Where else can you hear incisive commentary like: "KungFu Barbie straps on his Man Pants?" That it's also Flambass is the Cherry on the Sundae of my day.

Flambass is an exceptionally good DD player. I believe he played DDs in tournaments. He is also a great team player.

I have frequently seen Jingles misidentify ships but this is the first time I've seen him misidentify letters.

I don't always sail a DD, but when I do, I sail them in straight lines broadside to angry smokescreens.
