👍I love this new MV. Very funny & cute. This is my favorite video by them so far. Eloise did an awesome job on vocals & artwork. The rest of the band did great too. Ignore the loser "true punk rock" gatekeeper trolls that are going to automatically hate anything the band does. Most of them are just jealous & resentful because their childhood sucked. Linda Lindas keep up the great work & keep having fun while doing it. You do not have to fit into anyone else's definition of punk or any other music genre. I really think "Why" is Eloise'a plum piece for this album. It's such a well-written song. I love how in the lyrics, Eloise balances feelings of utter despair with shrewd optimism. Plus the band's musical arrangement is definitely top-notch. I so love the instrumental break with Eloise's hard pummeling bassline, Lucia and Bela's sinewing guitar lines, and Mila's solid drumming.
I love how they make a cool reference to the classic punk documentary "The Decline of Western Civilization" in this badass video for their song "Why" where they collaborated with director Elizabeth Ito of Adventure Time. Why I love Why: I really dig how Eloise, in the lyrics, balances feelings of utter despair with shrewd optimism. Plus the musicianship and arrangements are super ace. I so love the instrumental break with Eloise's hard pummeling bassline, Lucia and Bela's sinewing guitar lines, and Mila's solid drumming. I also get some heavy Descendents vibes from it. It's like "Hope," "Clean Sheets," and "Myage" rolled into one heck of a song. Hope you get to tour with your Epitaph uncles Descendents. That would be totally cool! 😊

They are cool but they need (should) to sound even more dirty, their instruments sound very clean, just like "rock" and not precisely to punk rock. Look at Amyl And The Sniffers or The Chats, they are raw punk rock. The Linda Lindas are nice. I like them though.
yea they're punk with money (and production quality) behind them. I think that's fine though, not all punk needs to be lofi and it would be fake to present themselves as rougher than they are.
