The biggest thing preventing me from living my best life in 2025 is being addicted to watching videos on self improvement. I get motivated by one video then I see another video in the recommendations and I just keep watching them and I don't end up doing anything all day.
Very nice 👍🙂 . But can you make a video on how to grow as a person like , growing in study or profession but building a personality like ,I love you idea of " who I am " so I want a long video on , like we are living 20-25 years on this planet but over-all growth is something we don't think about . Like , doing best as a student, in career , but also in humanity , prospective , strong decision making and not getting easily influence by world around us , growing in every way ,as a lover as a student , as a human , in thought process .
Creo que voy a estar usando mucho el primer mantra. Recientemente no le he encontrado mucho sentido en mi vida. He estado demasiado desmotivada e intentado hacer todo lo que puedo para esancarme.
12:15 ok ... but ... you're talking here about finding something with an income potential - that ALSO fits with your intrinsic motivations. Would you have done youtube to help people, if it could never become a source of income? You say this drive to help people made you work, while other people were hanging out, even though you already had a main job ... I don't think you'd be using this example of "people hanging out" as a contrast, as a negative, as if it's a bad thing to hang out since it's not productive, if money wasn't the focus for you.
Hi! When I worked in management consulting, yes it made good money but I was miserable. I did my "best" but I didn't have a drive to be outstanding because I didn't see the point in the work itself. I definitely would've started RUclips either way. In fact, my first RUclips channel that I made in 2017 was a music singing channel aimed at helping international fans sing K-pop songs and that earned pennies if anything due to copyright. But I worked soooo hard on it because it was fun and meaningful and impactful. You can think of working on RUclips on the side during my consulting job kind of like I'm doing this podcast on the side right now. This podcast was purely created as a passion project but since it's on YT and it grew large enough to monetize, as a "side effect" I now earn about $30-90 in Adsense monthly. I believe that if you're providing value in some way, there's some automatic way that you can generate some revenue but it just depends on how much you want to push for more revenue. My first and foremost goal with my main YT and this podcast was just to get more people to benefit from my lessons and experiences. Also, good point! I misspoke. From my experience with my friends and coworkers and the sentiment online, actually the most common way to spend time after work isn't hanging out. But it's generally on phones and TV. I swapped out doing that, even on breaks during WFH, for working on YT because that was genuinely more interesting to me and made me happy :) As a full-time creator, my biggest joys are simply that I have enough income to sustain doing what I love as my main thing and that I am able to hang out with many amazing creators who inspire me every day! Haha this was longer than I expected - hope this helps! Let me know if you have follow up questions!
