Very thorough and realistic review chaps. Thank you for taking the time. Mine (six months old) has had increasing flyers lately so it's off to airarms for a service but up until then, lovely smooth action and accuracy. Can I ask what pellets you have used in this review. I've had so many variations but finally down to Diabolo Field and Express (express just tipping the scales). Also just ordered a .177 4.52 sizer. I had no idea just how many pellets had 'wonky skirts' and such like. Anyway, thanks again folks -keep well.

Your barrel needs nothing more than a clean with a pull through 😉

The only criticism is there are no sling studs😢 imho a hunter rifle needs a sling especially if you are walking all day.

Some people will say I'm crazy, but couple weeks ago I sold my...Walther LG400 Anatomic and I decided to keep Air Arms s510R Ultimate Sporter 😆 Despite massive difference in price I didn't noticed difference in accuracy and in my opinion LG400 Anatomic is overpaid with price £ 3300. But main rason was that I like my AA very much and I didn't liked Walther 😁 AA is in my opinion very well priced and offer performance on the level of the most expensive air rifles, at least very close. Small differences like absorber on LG400 and better ergonomics aren't worth to pay £ 2000 more than cost of AA s510R US.

Hi ! As great a rifle as it may be, It has flaws as well. I have had mine for less than 4 years and it leaks air. The problem is that no one - and I mean no gunsmith - is willing to even have a look at it in France. I just cannot have it shipped to Britain. So, there I am... Airarms have been pretty nice by advising me what O rings I should buy. I did place an order, but with Brexit cheap O rings end up costing a lot of money once import duty has been paid. And then, we are not all specialists when it comes to breaking down a rifle. The rifle has barely shot 500 pellets in 4 years. It is a fine and very powerful machine - but very unreliable for a rifle costing well over £1000. One would expect a longer life expectancy. It seems that Airarms have not been to reliable and gun shops have stopped buying from them as they could never get the spare part they required. So my advise would be, do not buy an Airarms rfle unless you live in Britain.

Would look better with a thumb-hole stock.
