Finally a project similar to sor remake has appeared but in the ff universe. very cool job! Awesome! Can we expect playable characters and locations from ff2 and ff3 in sf89?

There is a phenomenon where it freezes when loading a save.

Thank you for reporting, I suppose this is a rare occurrence, what really happened?
I just loaded it after leaving the game and going to the main screen.
After loading, the character starts dying due to lack of energy and cannot move, so the attack button + jump button works, but only pressing and releasing the attack button works.
I think it's a problem with the loading and time attack stages. There were no problems with other stages.
Both symptoms only cause problems where time attacks occur.
If you play the game in one take, there are no issues.

As shown in the video, there is no problem until 2:06 seconds.
If you watch from 2:06 seconds to 3:09 seconds, you will see the problem.
Actually try it, you will see the same symptoms.
There's specific script I put only in time attack mode maybe this caused the problems.
sadly I can't remove the script because it's needed.
Again, this is soooooo good! 😁😘 Did you still need me to fix the Sega CD song that plays during the Edi.E boss stage? You mentioned that was the reason you didn't use it. Which, again, is a shame as that's the best remake song of the bunch that elevated Final Fight to a game as emotionally elegant as Strider. The song normally used for that level (the one you are using) just makes the game feel like a bad SNES game. But with the Sega CD song, the game suddenly feels like a scene from a Michael Mann movie, or Miami Vice.

@@MachokRomeo (corrected typos...doh! 🤦) The Sega CD Edi E. boss song is the song you should use for the nightclub level (but you said, you can't because of some glitch when you encode it or something). Maybe for fun keep the song you are already using for the Andre cage match but use the Sega CD song for the Edi.E boss match. Gives you the best of both worlds IMHO. @@MachokRomeo Yeah! That's great!! I thought you had fixed it. My bad. But now you should use it at least with Edi E (the dirty cop in the nightclub level). That was the song that elevated the game for most us (and is found on the mame2003plus version of FFAE)

@@MachokRomeo This is what you need, and everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Incomparable new sprites, especially running and kicking with swearing. I like that the game is full screen. The big mistake of final fight gold is that they cut off the screen. The only thing that seems to me to be necessary is to leave it so that there is blood when struck with a knife, and not just when thrown. Thank you very much for this update.
