Little explanation on the cars going into the water video! The only car that made it was a Toyota Hilux (Not a Land Cruiser) and it was most likely the only one who made it because of a little thing called a snorkel.
A snorkel on a car is an extension of the air intake piping, which moves the air intake from the engine bay onto a higher spot, usually located on the upper left or right side of the front windscreen. This helps the engine being able to get air into the combustion chamber instead of water, which will make your engine stop and hydrolock (fill with water).
That's why even the bigger vehicles like the truck, which has way higher pushing capabilities to get through the water, couldn't get passed this deep water!

As a snow runner player I would’ve thought the snorkel was something that was to an extent common knowledge but I guess considering that most people nowadays don’t even know that they need to actually hit the brakes to stop the car (Tesla drivers) i shouldn’t be surprised that people don’t know something like what a snorkel is which is fair enough i suppose but honestly I feel like cars should have something like a snorkel as a standard option because of how common it is in some places for giant puddles and flooded areas and I know you could just buy a vehicle suited to certain terrain but I feel like we should be making all vehicles more capable not lighter and easier to damage and cost a fortune to replace/fix one panel etc etc and don’t get me wrong i like fast cars and stuff but in a like let’s say a road rage incident as an example would you rather be in a lambo or a big truck and yet people literally drive in front of semi trucks and think they’d win in a crash so I don’t know anymore honestly

Pretty sure it's the Hilux that's indestructible, and that's why it's the vehicle of choice in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, etc.
@@master0combat333 Yes. They tested one on Top Gear quite some time ago. But if it was a stock Hilux in this clip that would've hydrolocked too. It's all about the snorkel in deep waters, not the car.

Just to clarify, testicular torsion almost only ever occurs with a specific type of deformity that a small percentage of guys have. Something clapper. I forget exactly. So if you haven’t had torsion by the time you’re in your late teens you are almost guaranteed not to ever experience it. Hope that assuages all my dudes’ worries on here :)
Had it when I was 14. Basically the nerves at the top of my right teste were twisted. Worst pain I have ever felt...couldn't hardly walk that day.

There are other ways manual or accidental that you can get testicular torsion from. Very rare case's tho

If you haven’t had it by your 20’s, your chances of it happening are rare
Testicular torsion can happen to just one nut, it doesn't have to be both getting tangled (my lefty got twisted up, exceedingly painful) & it usually happens to young athletes, not from sitting down too much. In my case, martial arts stuff where I was kicking things above my head, pretty sure that's what did it. Thankfully both boys are still there & healthy today.😁
can also happen from excessive or aggressive masturbation. I've never experienced it, I've just been really paranoid after watching that episode of the venture bros.

10:19 that black tube that goes up along side front windshield is the reason that vehicle was able to make it across without issue, it's called a snorkel. Most vehicles have the air intake on the bottom of the vehicle which is why they can't cross puddles but that vehicle can be fully submerged without stopping, as long as no water gets in the tube.

My mother (like Brian's) is a HUGE fan of Coronation Street. She actually met one of the actors from the show and got her autograph.
Most weekends and holidays at lunch were hosted by reruns and recordings of the latest episodes, and not even my dad could stop it.
The reason the yoter made it through the river is the fording kit. All these other vehicles sucked in water and killed the engine.
The same is mounted onto hmmwv's when needing to pass through deep water. Basically this raises the air intake, like a snorkel, well above the engine so that it doesn't intake water. You can get exhaust pipes as well, but not always necessary (really depends on the length of travel through deep water).

Nogla was suprisingly close to what testicular torsion is. As he said, there are "Tubes" aka bloodvessales and the spermatic cord. When testicular tortion happens its when the testicle itself twists, in such a way all the spermatic cord and bloodvessles ends up twisting around itself. Think you have a few thin ropes, now twist them all with eachother, clockwise, youll see how tangled the become, this not only causes imense pain, but also redusces bloodflow to the testicle, which causes it to lack oxygen and experience insane pain and swelling. If untreated it will cause the testicle to essentially die, though ig treated quickly one can save the testicle and keep it, but if it becomes too damaged, then it must be removed (Do not look up pics of it unless you want to see how its treated, which is not a nice view).
In fact, Brian was the most wrong, where as Nogla was pretty much right, even with the fact its more likley to occur again once it has happend once. It is most common in boys ages 12-18, but can happen later in life, and it usually occurs during sleep, where the boy/man will be woken up by the scrotal pain it causes, and we arent fully sure what causes it to happen, but those who experience it usually have a trait where the testicles are allowed to rotate freely inside the scrotum, meaning not all men can ever get it, due to not having the trait allowing free rotation. However, if one has it, it usually is in both testicles.
Now, funny thing is, while we dont know exactly how it occurs, we do know that there are certain thing we know can increase the chance of it happening. One of them being vigourous activity or minor injury to the testicle, that or as said while sleeping. Cold tempreatures or rapid growth of the testicles under puberty also might play are role. However, I will let you all make your own conclusions as which reason is most likley to be Tommy's.

i was 14 when i had testicular torsion, went for a long time thinking it was a pulled muscle after rugby but the doctors didn't do no putting to sleep on me, it was just cold hands and a circus act of juggling and twists for 5 minutes to untwist mine, i was laying down for weeks, still got them both but just with a high chance of it happening again

As Someone who had testicular torsion when I was younger, the pain post surgery was nothing compared to the pain pre surgery. Went from not being able to walk, sit or lay down properly to being able to run within a day or two.
