Hello. Love your videos. Im looking for a camera under or around $100. I see all have their advantages and disadvantages. My primary use will be on my bike and hiking trips, I would love to have time lapse. Ive been looking at the Victures and Crosstours, My questions. How important is it to have a remote if your doing riding videos? Is there a big difference between native and non native 4k? Which model would you buy for overall best quality for say $120 max. Thx.

No, that camera does not have a microphone input Jack.

Very good friend, buy the Crosstour Sports camera CT9100, i am really amazed with her, but I have the perception of a tingling when recording videos, I would like to know if you have this problem, and another concern is what recommends the Victure AC900 or the Accord Crosstour CT9100?
I have used the Crosstour CT9100 and always got good video from it, no issues with stuttering, dropped frames or video artifacts. Please check out my review : ruclips.net/video/5b5SSRK1_U4/видео.html The Victure AC900 is a good camera and seems durable and well built, however I do not really like the extreme 'fish-eye' effect that camera's lens produces.
Hi there, what do you think about the Firefly 8se vs Victure ac900 camera? Which do you think is better?
I have not found any comparison and that is why I ask the question:
Pros firefly 8se:
-External microphone
-excellent image quality
-excellent stabilization
- good quality of colors in the dark
Pros Victure ac900:
-include 2 extra batteries 1350 mAh
-20 mpx images
- adjustable viewing angle up to 170 °

I’m sorry, but I’ve never used a Firefly actin camera, so cannot really comment on the differences, however my personal choice is always to go with a camera that allows me to use an external microphone.
Hi thank you for this great review, could you please tell me does it matter if the sd card is 128gb class 10 sdxc or an sdhc, I’ve been reading conflicting information online, regarding these 2 cards and formatting. Thanks in advance 👍
I believe you can only get a 128GB card labeled SDXC, because the XC stands for 'extended capacity'. SDHC cards (HC stand for 'high capacity') range in size from 2GB up to 32GB. Anything over 32GB would be labeled SDXC. But regardless of what card you use, it's always a good idea to format the card in the camera the first time you use it.
I need to know where is the zoom and file type (avi etc) saving option option. currently it is saving in Quick time movie format which is not that common. My camera mike is very poor, almost like not recording anything.
There is no Zoom setting on this camera, there are however 3 different 'angles of view' - large, medium and small (these can be changed under the 'angle' setting in menu). This camera records video in the MP4 format with a selection of 2 different compression settings H.264 and H.265 (these can be changed under the 'codec' setting in menu)...and Yes, the audio quality on this camera IS very poor.
Nice review. As your reviews of cameras show, the small adventure cams are evolving technically and feature wise. Maintaining a price point requires trade offs and that is apparent in the features on the camera. Again nice review. Are you going to be at the Ontario Backcountry Canoe Symposium?

TheOneCanoe I am aware that Brad and Leah will be presenting. 2 years ago I contacted Brad about some old canoe route maps from Ontario Natural Resources, Provincial Parks and other sources. Most date back to the 1970’s and 1980’s. We did not connect because I was unable to make it to the Toronto Outdoor Show. If there is value in these older maps and route descriptions, I would like them to have a good home. I will touch base with Brad to let him know I will be there. But your thoughts are appreciated also.

Hello, I have subscribed very informative. Here is where I need your hones opinion. I bought the ac700 with amazon gift card. It was also on lightning deal for 38.00. I had watched the exteran mic review for the 700. I have original gp session with no way for external mic. I use it on my motorcycle. Thus I got the 700, well not sure I actually like it. color is not very good on a crisp fall day. Mainly washed out the sky. But doing post, well aint gonna happen to lazy! However I like the vids the 900 you showed takes. So, is it worth another $50.00 for the 900 for doing motovlogs? Thanks in advance...
Between the two cameras, the 900 gets better marks for video quality ( still no match compared to a GoPro or a Sony) but better than the 700. The 900 seems better built, and feels more solid than the 700, and the touch screen is quick and easy to operate. As far as audio they both record at low levels, however the 700 had the advantage of the plug in mic.
What is the best settings to filming when snorkeling? And when it is on the watercase is it possible that the quality of the video's and foto's are not so great?
I would leave this camera on all the auto settings and just pick the resolution you want. They all seem pretty good on this camera whether it's the 1080-30, or 2.7K-60, or 4K-30. The underwater housing has a optical clear lens port so image quality should be good both above and under water.
What is the Name of this App you use ?
I was very impressed with your detailed review of this camera that I purchased one (AC900) from Amazon. Overall I am happy with the camera as has a lot of features and settings for the money, however when turning on the image distortion as you suggest, it certainly does correct the fisheye effect, but at a cost to the EIS. I don’t believe the image stabilisation works with it on? Did you notice this at all with your testing of this model?
Hello Spikey 259, I just ran a little test, and even with the distortion correction and the EIS turned ON, it does not seem to smooth out the video, so I guess the EIS does not work in conjunction with the distortion correction setting..HOWEVER with the lens set to it's wide setting and the distortion correction turned off, and the EIS turned on, it tends to crop the image slightly so it actually takes away some of that fisheye look...it's almost the same as having the distortion correction turned on.
TheOneCanoe Thanks for your reply. I have been using the camera in 1080p 60fps in wide, with WDR & EIS on, with distortion correction OFF, and contrast at -1. Seems to be best. So many options, presently left all other settings on auto. If you have any better tweaks please share. Thanks.
Those settings all sound good. The only other thing I would adjust is the exposure. I tend to set mine at -2/3. I find almost ALL cameras (even very expensive ones)when set to Auto tend to overexposed by up to 1 stop, so I always end up ‘dialing it down’

Make sure you've downloaded the 'YKJ' app to you phone.Turn camera on and select wi-fi, THEN on your phone under settings select wi-fi and look for the AC900_000b6a200916 network and select it. The camera should now say "WIFI Connnected" THEN open the YKJ app on your phone, click the little camera icon at the bottom, then touch the 'connect camera' button... and it should open the app.

can we use the Wifi when we are outdoor and out of home or other public wifi?
The wi-fi works between the camera and your phone, so it is free and can be used anywhere.
VICTURE AC900 VS COMPARK X30 for RUclips Video filming ?
Of those two cameras, my choice would be the Campark X30.

I just checked, and it seems the suggested App called 'YKJ' is no longer available for download from the App Store. You should contact Victure customer service to find out what App will work on that particular camera.
Good afternoon. Can the camera be used as a webcam?
This camera does not have a dedicated 'Webcam' function, but in a pinch you could plug in a micro HDMI cable and use it to send a video image. The downside is the display on the camera is showing, also it probably does not send audio through the camera so a separate mic plugged into your computer would possibly be needed.
Curious to know, what kind of video editing program do you use on your computer?

@@TheOneCanoe Thanks for the info! I also wanted to ask about a review you did last year on a product called the Kingston MobileLite Wireless G3. Is this product still working good for you? And can you save photos/videos from phones, gopro, or DSLR cameras onto them?
Hi Josie, That Kingston MobileLite Wireless G3 works very well, but it is a bit slow when you have a lot of files to transfer. I bought that unit nearly 2 years ago, and I don't think they make it anymore. There is a product by Western Digital called the 'My Passport Wireless Pro' which is a portable hard drive with a built-in SD card slot so you can plug your memory card (from your camera) right in, and transfer the images/video directly to the hard drive for storage.

No, there is no microphone input jack on the Victure AC900 Action Camera. There is one on the AC700 model.

According to the specification page in the owners manual it uses an image sensor made by a company called 'Star Light' It does not give a specific model number.

Does the zoom work in video mode?
This camera does not have a Zoom lens, however you can adjust the angle-of-view to 3 different settings...wide, medium and narrow. You cannot make these adjustments while recording, only between takes.
Can you use a selfie stick with this?
Yes, you sure can!

the two way sticking tape on the attachments are of very bad quality, do not rely on it, it do not hold permanently, may be come off immediately , so ensure you either use original 3M from market or paste with good adhesive , buying from market, straps and other plastic, threaded items are OK.
