7 years after posting and this video helped a ton! Could be a bit tighter in editing, but relatively little bloat and very straightforward. Thank you and Good Job!
Thanks for taking the time to post this video. Changed mine in about 10 minutes. My daughter thinks I’m a master mechanic now, haha. Thanks again. The G6 lives on. Just broke 90k
Thank you very much good sir, you just saved me some money to get that changed. all I had to do was buy the bulb and watch this video. I did it in less than 10 minutes and was so easy cause of you. can't thank you enough. Bless you😊😊
I appreciate these videos, my bf is away for a week on business and my turn signal went out today. I watched your video and had it fixed in 10 mins max having never changed one before, thank you.
Just fixed my driver side brake light after getting a fix it ticket. Had no idea how to take my car apart to get to the bulb. Thanks for posting! Super easy. Took like 5 minutes.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 - bruh this was SOOO helpful. After watching this I literally changed the light in 5 mins. Great video, super clear, and the most clutch move of all was leaving the camera on that light bulb so I could get the name / part number. Thanks again homie!!!
Donnie Vlog, your video is fantastic! The hardest part was getting one of the nuts lose but the rest of the job was breezy-easy thanks to your excellent walk through. Thanks!
Ok now I have more confidence that I can do this myself. A shop would likely charge me $40/$50 bucks. Thanks for taking your time going through this too instead of speeding.
Hey bro I don't know how much money you saved me but I'm sooo pooor right now that you are a blessing to me , may God give you many blessings , thank u and hopefully you have muchos hijos
With your video I was able to change the rear turning light bulb on my own car! Thank you! (Sometimes it's the little things that make a person dance. 🤗)
Going to try this tomorrow, hopefully it's only the bulb and nothing else. This video is very helpful and After watching only once I already know what to do. A lot simpler then I thought.
Excellent video. Helped a lot. And like Laurie said, I don't need a man (or a shop that wants a ridiculous amount of money!) to figure this one out for myself!
Dude I know right?!? I’m literally in the middle of figuring out the whole power steering issue - mine seized up but its not eligible for the recall GM did
I noticed it blinking really fast a few days ago and took a look, but then I had my 4 ways on and it also didn’t work on that same taillight, are they both the same circuit? I have yet to check if the brake light on it is working aswell but I want to make sure that I’m changing the right bulb and don’t have to have to go and get another for a different reason lol I might have missed it in your video if it was mentioned
you are suppose to use 3057 bulb for the rear ,noticed you are using 3157 which is for the front ,so it don't matter both can be interchanged? if so that is great as im wondering because i only got a 3157 spare bulb so save me time and money not going to the store ,happy i see a vid showing this as id like to get started on the job but maybe your g6 calls for the same bulb number for front and rear ,mine is a Pontiac pursuit 2006 so not sure if its different
As the bulb comes in a two pack, would it be advisable to replace both at the same time; so both bulbs would have the same life span? Because only replacing one at a time would mean at some point later replace the other one.
I used your excellent video to replace the turn signal bulb on my wife's Pontiac G6. This car is so poorly designed that to replace a bulb, you must move the carpet and then take a wrench to two obscure bolts on the wall of the trunk. Someone needs to rewrite the Manual to the car.
Thank you sir, I’ve always been taught never to handle headlights with bare hands for the bulb will burn out faster, is it not the same with blinker bulbs?
That’s with the halogen headlamps. The bulbs get super hot and the oils from your fingers will cause the bulb to burn out faster. Turn signal bulbs don’t get super hot. You’ll be fine.
I have a G6 pontiac, and the tail lights do not work. I have searched in the three fuse boxes in the car, but unable y to identify the one fuse. Could you please tell me in whch of the boxes is the fuse and under what code or name it is. I appreciate that. Thanks. .
I don't see why people would dislike this video, lol.. anyhow just replaced mine and wanted to say thanks for posting!
Hey to
I just wanted to say THANKS for posting this, Donnie! You've absolutely saved many people (like me) lots of time and MONEY with your videos!

Just changed my first signal light, thanks to you! Was a very clear explanation. I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to help out ✨

Thanks man, they were gonna charge me like $50 at the shop to do this same thing
Chris Harris cost me $8.90 at advance for 2 bulbs.
Great video. What size battery is needed?
Thanks, easy. Took under 5 minutes.

Very helpful video, thanks!
Thank you! My left one burned out and I was wondering how to do this.

Turn signal bulbs don’t get super hot. You’ll be fine.
