    Hi Alesha, definitely sharing what I made from this tutorial! I used small round paper beads (not really that small around 6mm) my ring turned out great! I love how you did the band by reinforcing it with one bead in between those gaps. Thanks! Love your videos!

    I noticed if you make the flatter ring with smaller beads like 6/0 seed beads or 3mm beads the ring band fits the same as the round ring if you are using 5mm or 6mm beads. But if you make the flatter ring version with 6mm beads you will have to shrink the ring band slightly. I never tried using smaller beads on the round ring version so I don't know it you need to make it bigger or not. I'm sorry I hope this all made sense.

  • @beadifulnights
    @beadifulnights  12 лет назад

    Try laying the 6mm and 6/0 beads out on a bead mat in the color pattern you want to achieve. You don't need to do this with your 11/0 seed beads just leave them off to the side. Pay attention to which direction your beads holes are going in when you lay them out. Once you have all of them all laid out and it makes sense. Then start at one end picking them up and weaving. I find it helpful if you already have a finish bracelet even if the 6mm are all the same color to refer back to the design.

    Yes, I think it will work. Only thing is your ends of your line won't be very stiff so you may have to pick up your beads with your fingers instead of with the fishing line like I did in the video.

    @aroragaurvi You need to use 8lb. or 10lb. monofilament fishing it is cheap to buy. Monofilament is like plastic it doesn't stretch witch may be why your having such a hard time with elastic string.

  • @beadifulnights
    @beadifulnights  12 лет назад

    I think 10/0 seed beads may work but I would use large beads to even them out like the 6mm beads.

    Elastic won't work monofilament is best. These are the monofilaments I use along with there diameters 6lb. dia. .010 and 8lb. dia. .011 and 10lb. dia. .012 As you can see they are very close in sizes. My favorites are 8lb. and 10lb. because they are very strong and stiff enough that the ends can be used as needles.
