Plot twist, Steve did for the waddledee because he saw how they were treated. So when the ball knocked the plant over on accident, Steve was just annoyed and fixed up.

Holy crap that is horrifying. No joke that was insane. That is a creepypasta I never knew would exist.
This is average compared to our compact animal breeding/lavakilling chambers or what we do to make trading with villagers or piglins efficient.
Besides, it's already very much possible to make constructions out of bone blocks and flesh-like Nether fungi, or even worse, from literal trapped souls.

Up until the final reveal, I was completely lost on why Steve, not Dedede was called psycho...
I mean, even in minecraft, think of how many things require you to literally rip apart creatures for their internals, such as skeleton bones, tnt powder from creepers, slime from slimes, gast tears, blaze rods, ender pearls, hell he literally steals the ender dragon's egg as a trophy, assembles the wither to fight which destroys the world around him.

The world of smash bros in Mashed's eyes is pretty, pretty terrifying to say the least.
I like it.
We got Waluigi who had to kill an entire cast just to be in Smash (and rap 3 times), Kirby who's the devil that can inhale entire universe and now Steve, who's the psychopath that likes to steal someone's body parts at night.

Personally, I wouldn't even try to think about fighting any minecraft character. The Game Theorists did an Episode about it, basically Steve can hold trillions upon trillions of tons in his inventory and still sprint/jump/swim like it's nothing, He breaks 1m³ solid Stone and wood in a few seconds and places the same blocks instantly.
I quote: "I fear no man... but that thing? It scares me"
What woulda made it darker was if Samus the body billow was in on it because she actually preferred Steve. That would add a sense of betrayal to the plot.

@@Irrelevance_ Originally, That's what I thought. But Kirby looks like he'd eat you entirely. You'd have to climb out of that endless void. For Steve to build upward, he needs a flat block. There's not much in an empty void. Plus, if he did go into creative, he'd just be flying through said void, making it a moot point.

I just realized the face that Steve was mining from Dedede’s body foreshadowed really well. In the beginning of the animation, Dedede is normal, but during the animation, he deteriorates more and more, until near the end, where he looks like he is gonna die at any second. This is seen during parts like the montage, where Dedede stretching gets harder and harder, his eyes getting more and more red, it’s all foreshadowed so well, it took me years to realize this. I know that this was probably already commented by another guy, or this wasn’t intended, but it was all amazing work. Good job, Mashed Team!
I don't know why but when Steve was building his house I just thought of Villager having a meltdown with HOA regulations for some reason. Much like the beloved dirt house....
