NYPD aerodynic lightbar

my latest addition to my collection. A 24 RMVF-2Z A-1 NYPD lightbar. This was a marketplace buy. In this video, i varify that it's not a clone and put the correct light bulbs in it, also give it a polishing and a good cleaning

I use the red spray that they sell at the hobby store for model cars which is translucent and you can paint the bulbls of that. It looks perfectly like red glass.

I thought about that. Didn't think about checking a hobby store for the paint. But i found the red ones, so i just got those.

Good score! That side sticker is common and just shows the patent numbers. A little closer to finding the actual build date would be the date code on the motor. Labeled as an Aerodynic, these bars are Aerotwinsonics. Why Federal Signal did this is beyond me. The Aerotwinsonic is a way better bar. Again good score!💪👍👍

Ok been watching a couple of your videos. What are you using as a power supply is it that 10 amp 12vdc radio shack power supply?

I do have a couple of those for my smaller lights. For the bigger ones i have a Mysweety 600w power supply got off ebay. I do have a video of that power. Just search my channel for ( Police lightbar power supply )
