"Oh, we are getting rid of the rights, just do whatever you want with this season... not like it matters now" Makes you wonder what kind of things could have been done with OTHER seasons if they had the same amount of artistic freedom.

For wild force I don't given as much credit to Disney because it was the old producton staff making the season. However, dino thunder, ninja storm, SPD, jungle fury, and rpm were all among the best of the franchise. I think Disney began to really not care anymore starting with overdrive. It's just pains me to know that RPM was supposed to have a different ending since the original showrunner for it was fired to bring in chip Lynn to finish it. The ending of RPM was one of the weakest part of the series for an otherwise spectacular season, which makes it even more disappointing.
Ok, I love RPM but let's change some things just for fun exercise : Flynn: One thing for sure. If we treat Dillon as Main character than we can establish his interaction with rest of the cast. Except Flynn. Outside of small scene where Flynn wants to be supportive they never interact. If we expand this grounded subject of Flynn you mentioned then that would bring some more unusual topic to the table. Dillon is lone warrior in the desert. Someone like that has little place in everyday world. It makes me wonder. Who would be Dillon if war never happen and what is going to happen to him after it ends. Flyyn would nice mentor introduce him to the world they live in. Summer: Interesting concept. However what makes me wonder is how economy actually work inside of Corinth. It seems like rich people would own major companies. shouldn't Summer be more conformable around such people? What if one episode twists her role. We always see her as idealistic warrior. What if there is scenario where Summer needs to show her darker side to help her team. Cunning, trickery, lies and all other aspects that made her parents rich and she learned to impress them. Ziggy: Nothing to add so far. So other things you are probably gonna mention later. - Antidote - One episode says there is no antidote other... that Doctor K works on it. It really kills the drama. One scenario comes to my mind. What if Cartels are trying to get Dillon to believe they can create the serum or painful operation. Why would they do that? Two reasons. Power Rangers defend THEIR city. If they control Power Rangers, their needs etc. they also have absolute power. Which would explain why RPM Rangers are stand alone from Corinth Military. - Gem and Gemma introduction - Probably most annoying factor. Show repeats same scenario three times. Rangers in trouble - Twins destroy the enemy - Twins disappear. It really is hard to watch.
This is kinda genius, and I love how you’re starting with the good seasons. As for RPM in particular, I love how you fixed the tonal inconsistencies and how they related to the characters of RPM as the focus. It’s such a good season that these little things stood out a lot, and all of your changes make perfect sense
Alternate suggestion for Ziggy: have him born into the cartel. If he was raised with the ideals needed to serve in the cartel, but had none of the skill to follow through, then we could have a nice introspection of nature vs nurture when he betrayed Fresno Bob. Better still, have him be from the orphanage he helped out but adopted into the cartel to give him motivation for the betrayal.
Here’s an idea I have. A way to incorporate the talking Mecha from Go Onger into RPM. Basically, my idea is that when creating the Zords, Doctor K created an individual A.I. For each Zord, each with a unique personality, and names. Think of them as a precursor to the Beast Bots. Speedy the Eagle Racer: a speedster who’s quick on his feet (or in his case, tyres). Partner: Scott Truman. Leo the Lion Hauler: A guy who’s smart and laidback. Partner: Flynn McAllistair. Berry the Bear Crawler: a sweet and loyal friend. Partner: Summer Landsdown. Fin the Tail Spinner: A real tough guy. Partner: Ziggy Grover. Wulf the Wolf Cruiser: A quiet, but loyal friend. Partner: Dillon. Crunch the Croc Carrier: a guy who likes to be loud and known. Partners: Ziggy Grover & Dillon. Soar the Falcon Chopper: a real chipper guy. Partner: Gem. Stripe the Tiger Jet: a patient but quick kind of guy. Partner: Gemma. Blue the Whale Jumbo Jet: a happy-go-lucky and laid-back guy. Partners: Gem & Gemma. Tusks, Fang and Spike the Paleozords: Brutish and simple-minded fighters (think of the Dinobots from Transformers). Partner: Scott Truman. Rubburn the Road Attack Zord: A cool guy who’s more of his own thing (think of Steel from Beast Morphers). BONUS: Jet the Turbo Falcon: A Prideful Speed Demon who has trouble trusting others. Partners: the Super Megaforce Rangers.
One tweak I would make to Ziggy is that he is Fresno Bob's nephew on top of having accidentally cost someone's life as the reason as why Fresno puts up with him. It's a secret to everyone else, but as soon as the family starts to become a nuisance, in true Godfather-like fashion he turns on him and doesn't mind anything coming his way until K saves him. And you could have a simple scene of both just talking and Ziggy says: "Hey, uncle Bob..." gets cut off and tells him to call him Fresno Bob from that point on to keep the secret as he wouldn't want to be associated with him to the other cartel members. Even still, it is my favorite PR season for the relatively minor mistakes it made (Brother-sister relationship stolen from In Space without a nod cough cough)
with ziggy the murder idea is a bit much. i would connect him joining the cartel with a character arc of him always being weak and attaching himself with the strong for protection. it could tie in with the ventrix plot in that, the takeover didn't happen all at once but over years. the cartel, evil as they are, exploited ppl's desperation. ziggy could work as their bookkeeper. the jail scene would be poignant because all the inmates or most of them anyway, are ppl ziggy ripped off during his cartel days. the orphanage scene is good in that, he is still a grifter uses to swindling adults but even ziggy has a heart when it comes to orphans(whose parents died at the hands of ventrix). but here is the twist, keep him a grifter, even with the rangers. make it a continuing storyline where everyone on the team and in the town knows his story and in turn doesn't trust him. that way the other rangers and dr k are justified in not fully accepting him. have his only friend be another outsider in dylan. you can have his story arc come full circle in the cave episode with dr k where by telling each other's life stories. in that episode we can see his growth, her starting to trust him and the early seeds of their romance. we can see this realized in the cartel episode where he faces them and does the right thing in the episode.
Ziggy should've been tied more into the orphanage thing. Make it so he's more connected to the orphanage (like say he grew up there or his family runs it), and tie that into how he winds up with the cartels. The orphanage falls on hard times because with the end of the world coming in the grant is shrinking so he goes to the cartel looking for big paydays and the cartel can deliver. Now, he's in the mob doing some fairly simple driving for them at first. Moving stolen cars from one place to another, driving trucks of goods, that kind of thing. This helps tie him into the car thing that the season seems to have going on as well. But he goes deeper and deeper as the world continues to end and money for the orphanage continues to dry up. This all culminates with his having to drive a shipment of medical goods from a big planned heist by all 5 cartels. They've been planning this for months and Ziggy is the guy they've got picked for driving the mysterious "shipment" from one end of town where it comes in to the other where he's supposed to drop it off. But, before that can happen he screws up and gets a flat tire and gets curious about what's inside, and it happens that it's exactly the medical supplies he needs to help the orphanage. So he tries to give it to the orphanage and then make it look like something totally unrelated to the orphanage happened to it, but he screws that up and it comes back on him, so he flees the city to try to protect the orphanage. This way it more resembles the way the show tried to frame it, while simultaneously showing that Ziggy is at least mildly competent at something besides being a ranger and also gives him a reason to be connected to the cartel and in a position to actually be handling the stolen goods that got him into all this trouble in the first place.
The cartels were a weak point. Ziggy would have likely joined either due to gullibility OR because someone he knew and loved was in deep trouble. I don't think we need Ziggy killing someone or even having a guilt trip motivation. What he could have done to make a name for himself in the cartel is to have bumbled his way through a couple of major jobs successfully. Even though he screws up a lot they could have kept him around as a good lucky charm. p.s. Doctor K is the best character.
So can you rewrite Turbo next? I already have my version of the movie: TJ would've had a father who is a stock car racer being forced to babysit Justin who is a the son of a distant relative. One day, TJ is grounded and forced to babysit Justin after recklessly driving one of his father's cars. While hanging out, Justin finds an old ring in a cave containing Dimitria who is a jinn in the ring. She will serve as the team's mentor and allows them one wish: Since Justin is wearing it, he elects to become a power ranger. She does that, and convert's TJ's cars into Zords for the new team. So that is how the Turbo team is formed. The arrival of the new team catches the attention of Zordon and Alpha whose Zeo team have gone bezerk due to being overpowered by the zeo crystal, and they recruit the Turbo team to help them. This will lead to the Turbo rangers going on a quest to destroy the Zeo crystal with the corrupted Zeo rangers on their trail.
I LOVE this idea. It's a good way to prolong and liven the channel. Another idea: continuing timelines (i.e. pitching the next season of a ranger team that never happened).

I think if it were up to me, the character focused episodes would be two parters. Get me to care more about Scott's brother, before he dies. Tell me more about his dad and how he became a colonel. Get me to care more about Summer's butler, before HE dies. Explain why her parents are the way that they are, and how being broke has affected them especially now that they are living inside of a dome.
RPM - Remove "And Action", has the Rangers and Machine generals interact a little bit more and fixing "The Dome Dolls". Ninja Steel - Has the Ninja Steel Rangers be students either in the Wind or Thunder Ninja Academy and live in the same town in Ninja Storm, make Dane Romero a friend to the Ninja Storm Rangers, have the villains be evil spirit/yokai, like their Sentai counterparts, removing the Galaxy Warriors concept, and not have the Ninja Steel Rangers be high school students. Zeo - Gives Auric both a name same to Auric the Warrior and a backstory, bring back Aisha in one episode or so, make Billy the Gold Ranger in one episode, make "Good as Gold" a two-parter instead and do a crossover with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Time Force - Gives Lucas a backstory, make Gluto less of a idiot and be useful, make "Time for Lightspeed" a multi-parter and remove Vypra and develop Trip, Katie and Lucas for a little itsy bit more. Samurai - Less of a direct copy of Shinkenger, use some elements from Amit Bhaumik's original pitch of adapting Shinkenger, has Jayden and Lauren be Asian-American, make Spike the Gold Samurai Ranger instead, have Clash of the Red Rangers be a two-parter and not use any footage from Shinkenger The Movie and give Mia a different surname. Megaforce (S1) - Make Megaforce and Super Megaforce both separate seasons, re-imagine Gosei from Eltar, has Tensou be based on Datas from Goseiger, has Troy, Noah, Gia, Emma and Jake be college students and develop them more, develop the villains for a little bit more, made a crossover with Samurai, make Vrak the final boss in the series. Operation Overdrive - Has Dax, due to stunt acting skills, be the one who help train the team to fight, develop Tyzonn a bit more, gives Ronny a backstory and not has her be a race car driver, has Andrew Hartford be a former member from Lightspeed and were given the inspiration from the Cyborg Rangers to create Mack, remove Norg and Thrax, made a crossover with Mystic Force, have Will actually quit be rejoining the team in nearly the finale, has the Sentinel Knight be a old friend of Zordon and have Rose be the one who uncover Mack's robotic secrets. Mystic Force - Have that Octomus the Master erase Udonna's memory of both Nick and Leanbow before she soon start slowing regaining her memory, develop Xander, Chip, Madison, Vida and Daggeron a bit more, do a crossover with S.P.D., have Nick be a little but order, like making him 19, and has Toby learn the Rangers' identities, only for him to have his memory be erase by the Rangers in one episode. Jungle Fury - Have Casey and Jarrod be foster brothers, has Luen, Gabby, Master Phant's niece, and Dr. Silva Jennings become the Jungle Fury Bat, Elephant and Shark Power Rangers, do a crossover with Operation Overdrive and have Dom appears before becoming the Jungle Fury Rhino Ranger.

Summer's butler didn't get mentioned enough. I never understood why this got two parts. Like Brain said, it just clashes so hard with the first part where it's defined by Summer being betrayed by everyone she knew and then it's a wacky wedding episode with her parents. Then they never show up or are mentioned again. I also wasn't a fan of Summer having to be paired with Scott or Dilion. Part of it is kinda fun because K points it out almost as if she is projecting, but still. Especially since there isn't enough interactions between Scott and Summer to justify it. He had more chemstry with Dillon.
Here's my suggestions: Remove "And... Action" or have it be on a DVD instead rather than a behind-the-sense episode for no reasons. Add more interactions between the Rangers and the machine generals. Give the Rangers' zords have personalities, like their Sentai counterparts.
Like with all production hells, the fact that this series went through two writers and was rushed into its conclusion really shows. Specifically the episode "Ancient History" feels like it was written on the same day that they began filming due to clunky dialogue and a weird tone.
Ok now here me out, Flynn may have been the least developed character in RPM; I have an idea to make this story a little better, even though it make be way darker. (Check Replies)
So you how Flynn saved people with a bus in his focus episode of “Ranger Blue”? Now, what if that girl that he saved didn’t make it. It may be dark but didn’t Scott’s brother die? Say what you will about the Saban Eras (by which I mean Zordon, post Zordon, and Neo), there is one funny element about them. The biggest *animation"* studio on Earth with thier infamous Star Wars film and a literal fucking toy company have written it better than the people who originally made Power Rangers. It is funny.
I also find it fun to find out how a series is made and boy does Power Rangers provide you with great material. Multiple scrapped episodes, Megaforce and Turbo in production hell, writing fuckups. It's the best.
How about next, instead of doing something easy like rewriting power rangers samurai, Megaforce, or turbo, the season that gets rewritten is the one that got young brain into the final frontier Power Rangers In Space rewritten

Gem and Gemma's deaths were also on screen (although they were brought back to life, so this isn't an amazing example). While relatively rare, Power Rangers as a series has shown death before. With Ziggy, it wouldn't even have to show it on screen. Just a very emotional scene of him telling someone this. His actor can pull it off, I'm sure. They don't even have to use the word "death" or "kill" to get the idea across, if that's going to be a problem.
I'm glad Disney ended their Power Rangers tenure with their best Season.

The cartels were a weak point. Ziggy would have likely joined either due to gullibility OR because someone he knew and loved was in deep trouble. I don't think we need Ziggy killing someone or even having a guilt trip motivation. What he could have done to make a name for himself in the cartel is to have bumbled his way through a couple of major jobs successfully. Even though he screws up a lot they could have kept him around as a good lucky charm.

TJ would've had a father who is a stock car racer being forced to babysit Justin who is a the son of a distant relative. One day, TJ is grounded and forced to babysit Justin after recklessly driving one of his father's cars. While hanging out, Justin finds an old ring in a cave containing Dimitria who is a jinn in the ring. She will serve as the team's mentor and allows them one wish: Since Justin is wearing it, he elects to become a power ranger. She does that, and convert's TJ's cars into Zords for the new team. So that is how the Turbo team is formed.
The arrival of the new team catches the attention of Zordon and Alpha whose Zeo team have gone bezerk due to being overpowered by the zeo crystal, and they recruit the Turbo team to help them. This will lead to the Turbo rangers going on a quest to destroy the Zeo crystal with the corrupted Zeo rangers on their trail.
This is a stellar rewrite!

A lot of the plot of SPD was Greg Aronowitz's idea.
I LOVE this idea. It's a good way to prolong and liven the channel. Another idea: continuing timelines (i.e. pitching the next season of a ranger team that never happened).

I think if it were up to me, the character focused episodes would be two parters. Get me to care more about Scott's brother, before he dies. Tell me more about his dad and how he became a colonel. Get me to care more about Summer's butler, before HE dies. Explain why her parents are the way that they are, and how being broke has affected them especially now that they are living inside of a dome.
I heard that the actor who plays Colonel Truman said there was a flashback episode planned for him that never came to fruition

RPM - Remove "And Action", has the Rangers and Machine generals interact a little bit more and fixing "The Dome Dolls".
Ninja Steel - Has the Ninja Steel Rangers be students either in the Wind or Thunder Ninja Academy and live in the same town in Ninja Storm, make Dane Romero a friend to the Ninja Storm Rangers, have the villains be evil spirit/yokai, like their Sentai counterparts, removing the Galaxy Warriors concept, and not have the Ninja Steel Rangers be high school students.
Zeo - Gives Auric both a name same to Auric the Warrior and a backstory, bring back Aisha in one episode or so, make Billy the Gold Ranger in one episode, make "Good as Gold" a two-parter instead and do a crossover with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Time Force - Gives Lucas a backstory, make Gluto less of a idiot and be useful, make "Time for Lightspeed" a multi-parter and remove Vypra and develop Trip, Katie and Lucas for a little itsy bit more.
Samurai - Less of a direct copy of Shinkenger, use some elements from Amit Bhaumik's original pitch of adapting Shinkenger, has Jayden and Lauren be Asian-American, make Spike the Gold Samurai Ranger instead, have Clash of the Red Rangers be a two-parter and not use any footage from Shinkenger The Movie and give Mia a different surname.
Megaforce (S1) - Make Megaforce and Super Megaforce both separate seasons, re-imagine Gosei from Eltar, has Tensou be based on Datas from Goseiger, has Troy, Noah, Gia, Emma and Jake be college students and develop them more, develop the villains for a little bit more, made a crossover with Samurai, make Vrak the final boss in the series.
Operation Overdrive - Has Dax, due to stunt acting skills, be the one who help train the team to fight, develop Tyzonn a bit more, gives Ronny a backstory and not has her be a race car driver, has Andrew Hartford be a former member from Lightspeed and were given the inspiration from the Cyborg Rangers to create Mack, remove Norg and Thrax, made a crossover with Mystic Force, have Will actually quit be rejoining the team in nearly the finale, has the Sentinel Knight be a old friend of Zordon and have Rose be the one who uncover Mack's robotic secrets.
Mystic Force - Have that Octomus the Master erase Udonna's memory of both Nick and Leanbow before she soon start slowing regaining her memory, develop Xander, Chip, Madison, Vida and Daggeron a bit more, do a crossover with S.P.D., have Nick be a little but order, like making him 19, and has Toby learn the Rangers' identities, only for him to have his memory be erase by the Rangers in one episode.
Jungle Fury - Have Casey and Jarrod be foster brothers, has Luen, Gabby, Master Phant's niece, and Dr. Silva Jennings become the Jungle Fury Bat, Elephant and Shark Power Rangers, do a crossover with Operation Overdrive and have Dom appears before becoming the Jungle Fury Rhino Ranger.

I love this new series after rpm please do Mystic Force, the idea of magical rangers is so good and they could have done something so much better but they didn’t and I think you could rewrite it to be AWESOME 💛

16:19 my idea of a reason for why Ziggy wants to impress Fresno Bob? is Fresno Bob is his Dad/Granddad/Uncle but Ziggy never really fit in with the family's life of crime.
Have you ever thought about the super sentai versions to power rangers versions how they are different in tone and whatever else and making a video of that
Summer's butler didn't get mentioned enough. I never understood why this got two parts. Like Brain said, it just clashes so hard with the first part where it's defined by Summer being betrayed by everyone she knew and then it's a wacky wedding episode with her parents. Then they never show up or are mentioned again.
I also wasn't a fan of Summer having to be paired with Scott or Dilion. Part of it is kinda fun because K points it out almost as if she is projecting, but still. Especially since there isn't enough interactions between Scott and Summer to justify it. He had more chemstry with Dillon.
Here's my suggestions:
Remove "And... Action" or have it be on a DVD instead rather than a behind-the-sense episode for no reasons.
Add more interactions between the Rangers and the machine generals.
Give the Rangers' zords have personalities, like their Sentai counterparts.
The only thing I wished was in RPM were the exclusive rangers toys from the toyline
Like with all production hells, the fact that this series went through two writers and was rushed into its conclusion really shows. Specifically the episode "Ancient History" feels like it was written on the same day that they began filming due to clunky dialogue and a weird tone.
One of my favourite parts though was definitely how Kilobyte was essentially a racist. Cracks me up.
One more question, how would you do an animated pr show?
When it comes to the yellow ranger, what you are asking for is Game of Thrones quality writing. That is impossible with Power Rangers.

So you how Flynn saved people with a bus in his focus episode of “Ranger Blue”? Now, what if that girl that he saved didn’t make it. It may be dark but didn’t Scott’s brother die? And also didn’t Summer’s butler was left behind? Come on Flynn would be so more developed if he weren’t ever be proud of himself because he didn’t save that one 5 yr old girl.

Please do Dino Thunder next, I have issues with the near end, you have issues with Tommy’s lack of guilt, we both have a love/hate relationship Dino Thunder (whether you think so or not) and you can probably find a way to appease us both.
There is a lot of mileage to be had with re-writing Trent.

Then screw you, you’re not worth his loyalty and if you’re gonna give him flack for not selling his father out, you’ve got to earn the right to!
I don’t care if he wants to turn the world into his personal domain, you just don’t do what Dino Thunder Rangers to your token adopted team member, you’re a team of Rangers and not a flock of sheep.
Say what you will about the Saban Eras (by which I mean Zordon, post Zordon, and Neo), there is one funny element about them. The biggest *animation"* studio on Earth with thier infamous Star Wars film and a literal fucking toy company have written it better than the people who originally made Power Rangers. It is funny.
I also find it fun to find out how a series is made and boy does Power Rangers provide you with great material. Multiple scrapped episodes, Megaforce and Turbo in production hell, writing fuckups. It's the best.
How about next, instead of doing something easy like rewriting power rangers samurai, Megaforce, or turbo, the season that gets rewritten is the one that got young brain into the final frontier Power Rangers In Space rewritten

Why not? Billions of people dying in the opening credits is fine but a protagonist character accidentally taking a life is too much?

@@jonaszprzybycien6545 They showed Andrews dying on screen. Kendrix's death was shown on screen. Gem and Gemma's deaths were also on screen (although they were brought back to life, so this isn't an amazing example). While relatively rare, Power Rangers as a series has shown death before.
With Ziggy, it wouldn't even have to show it on screen. Just a very emotional scene of him telling someone this. His actor can pull it off, I'm sure. They don't even have to use the word "death" or "kill" to get the idea across, if that's going to be a problem.
Simple to say why Cartel Bob keeps Ziggy around. He amuses him and the boys. Their life and timeline is terrible. Need amusement where you can get it.
