Lola Albright, the gorgeous woman in here used to be in a TV drama, that slips my mind...it was a great show with Craig Stevens, another fine, fine actor. All I mostly did in life was work and take all the time I could with my children and older now they are forever the light of my life. I never had time for TV then so now, on a pc, I try and find interesting shows, drama mostly. I must look for other films with the two actors wrote of here. I find the older films and actors from decades ago are the best.
I never saw this episode of Bonanza. I can understand why the ladies hated to see him leave Bonanza. A man of wisdom. Good common sense. Great episode.

It is funny that Adam, Ben Little Joe, and Hoss all had look-alike doubles. Ben's look-alike was in San Francisco. Joe and Hoss's doubles were outlaw partners that they ran across on a trip. The idea of having a person that looks like you, and pretends to be you would be a long shot but might be believable once but 4 times. The number of times the Cartwrights were shot and injured was pretty incredible also.
Becky...Very good comment. I like the episodes esp. with Pernell Roberts in them, he is a fine, very fine actor and I say he carried the series. Hoss was good when playing drama with Adam ("The Hopefuls" was great example...season one.) After Pernell left, end of season six I seldom watched and now I look for the ones that have Adam in the lead. There is SOOO much repetitive in the series, how it went so long I'll never understand. Every week the 13 year old Little oe the 130 pound wonder beats up 1 or 2-3 men twice his size and has no control of temper, no sensible control with girls he tries to kiss and hound the 1st time he sees them. He usually wants to marry them...there's way too much to ponder here, but I'll seek out Adam episodes, Hoss when he is not playing a clown with all those awful faces he makes. Please forgive the ramble?
If Hollywood built movies based on actual lifestyle, they wouldn't sell tickets ... use your common sense From a writer perspective, must have been hard to come up with so many story lines.. I see stunt doubles, that's it

That Freakin Adam should’ve married her. Plus there’s actually a flaw in this. Remember the 2 guys that entered the shack, well while the guy was down he got up and was hit with that grilling hook and went to the ground again and started getting up while Adam was beating the other guy up. Well it went back to the girl again holding a gun on him and he started waking up when he was getting up in the first seen and wasn’t knocked out. Lol I caught on to that.
