    🔷 ABOUT SAMCRAFT 🔷
    Samcraft is a channel all about educating, inspiring, motivating, encouraging, and sharing the things I've learned since starting my own small business in 2018.
    In today's video I use my Massey Ferguson 1825 compact tractor and Speeco 12" auger to dig my fifteen foundation holes and footers for my new workshop build. I also set my concrete tube forms and prepare for concrete pour day!

    Hey Sam I’m about to start my 20x32 build also. What’s the laser level you used with the receiver?

    When you’re done I have a 16’x28’ shed that needs built. The slab is already poured.

    Hey Sam like your vid’s. I saw your last build where you used concrete blocks instead of tubes and concrete poured piers. Did the blocks not hold up or why did you decide on concrete poured footers? Thank you and great vids , love your work!

      @Samcraftcom  11 месяцев назад +1

      My other workshop has been great, with no issues in settling or problems from the block foundation. I knew this was going to be a larger building and higher off the ground to match the same floor height as my first workshop, so I chose the pier method.

    You don’t need a small footer at the base of the sonotube?
    Wouldn’t that allow the column to move laterally?
    Maybe because it’s “hard pan” like you said?🤔

    Any particular reason you didn't pre-cut the tubes shorter if you had a rough idea how deep you were going and what you needed above grade? Just curious.

    Great job on covering the construction and the whys of building it! Just a note, My shop is 28' x 48' and after 16 years I have severally out grown it.

    • @Samcraftcom
      @Samcraftcom  10 месяцев назад +2

      It matches the length of my current workshop and it's divisible by 4'. To save on material waste, it's best to build in dimensions of 4' whenever possible. :)
