Dokken is an 80's Hard Rock Metal Band that really hit their stride with the albums Tooth and Nail (1984) Under Lock and Key (1985) and Back for the Attack (1987). The song Dream Warriors was the lead single from the album Back for the Attack, and it was also used in the hit horror movie A Nightmare on Elm St Part 3 The Dream Warriors. The tensions between Don Dokken and George Lynch were always very intense and this would be the last studio album the band would record together until the mid 90's.
This guitar solo is very unique and melodic. The guitar harmonies come in to punctuate the end of phrases as opposed to be being a dual lead feature. The solo emphasizes melody over shredding which is very refreshing, even though shredding can be awesome too. I overdubbed the Harmony guitar instead of playing it live but I will also include the TAB for it.

Good job bro!!!
More George Solos please! "Lost Behind the Wall" in particular🍺😎👍
Good call Cap. I'll get on it asap. That solo is killer
Man! That pumped me up! That guitar tone, the harmonizing and the ending. All Elite Shredding.
Thanks Dace, I need to try and cover more George solos
Great job sounds great
Awesome job
Thank you! Cheers!
Even better than the original! You're the new Mr. Scary :)
lol, thanks Lorenzo. Mr. Scary is a good solo too. Badlands solo will be coming soon
@@jimiwolfsolos3119 thank you mate ❤

Nope, That TAB is bogus from the start.
Incorrect tabs have to be vaporized on contact.
You gotta backup your claims Zeek, show me where I was wrong and what you think the correct TAB is
@@jimiwolfsolos3119 The tabs are all wrong, You have to listen to the isolated solo video on it.
What's wrong is the intro does NOT start with that bend. You'll fix it quickly because it's an easy fix. it's a touch of counter point from In My Dreams solo.
A lot of people mess up the chords, make sure you're doing those correctly. The same chords present themselves in Save Me by Cinderella.
I strongly support you because you're respectful. Tip: Even George has been messing up this solo for years now. We can't let that happen to us.
Good response Zeek. I listened to the isolated guitar track and it starts with a pickup that I didn't include and it also ends on a different note. I still wouldn't agree that "The Tabs are ALL wrong," I think i'm pretty darn close to the original. Here's the isolated track if any one is interested. A interpreted solo will never be perfect but it is fun to try and get as close as possible

@@jimiwolfsolos3119 yeah some parts are wrong also where the small p or h where the hammer on or pull offs are
@@gabrielcomeau3518 I think putting in p and h letters are redundant, the Slur line represents Hammer Ons and Pull Offs. The slur line can also represent a Tied note if the TAB numbers are the same.
