Hey everyone, what are your thoughts on escapism in general & what do you think about the current state of games? What expectations do you have for this year in regards of new games?
the real challenge for humanity is, imo, to complete DOOM Eternal on nightmare mode 🙂 ... besides the question "how did the universe come into being?" ... I am a DOOM fan for x years, currently I am trying to play DOOM on Nightmare

I wanted to share this especially after the failures of the last year and as we're starting a new year - I believe this most important aspect of games is being lost and often drowned out by controversy and unnecessary features, that just make no sense for most of us gamers.

Escapism is indeed the prime function of video games for me. Dev activism defeats that purpose. More than a few devs need to watch this vid.
