Man I wish I would’ve seen this BEFORE I spent $60 on the stargazer happy planner. It was literally the only planner that somewhat matched my style and preferences. I LOVE these.. they call to me. My mother has all the cricut machines and supplies they’ve eve released as she works for them so I really need to start making my own stuff.. I’m not a florals type of gal. These on the other hand are my vibes
I am so excited to do this! I always end up buying planners and being frustrated because the forms don’t meet my needs. I don’t want vision boards, habit trackers, contacts, inspiring quotes, etc. I have made my own with binders, but they are so bulky so I end up frustrated. This is going to be great!
You can buy dollar store plastic folders, cut them down to size and insert cardstock in the folder pockets, and use those as covers as well. I guess it's not as cute as having a custom printed cover, but if you just need a quick notebook, that's my recommendation. I live near a dollar tree, and so i buy plastic folders any time I stop by when I know I need a new divider or cover page. And I have a pack of comic book backings (the white cardstock inside of the sleeve of a comic book that prevents folding and crinkling) and xl cardstock that I use as extra stabilization in my folders.
they work well as temporary covers, and as permanent ones. my sketchbook is just printer paper I've punched into my disc bound dollar tree plastic folders (: the tabs are just construction paper. useful, simple, accessible - so don't think you have to have a nice printer at home to get this kind of project off the ground!! legit you ONLY need the punch, the discs, and some paper to put inside, just like it's stated at the beginning of the vid (:
Hi! New subbie as of today…I’m new to the discbound community…looking for new creative outlet and new system for my new planners. Love the accents on video…like Heaven scent. The video was very helpful for me. Thank you for video content!
I have a couple bound journals I'm using first, but after those are done I'm going back to a disc bound notebook. I'm going to have to keep this video in mind when I'm setting up my disc bound bujo! I LOVE the witchy vibes of these. 😍
Wow! I’m with you I prefer disc bound notebooks, journal and planners for their flexibility. Way more room for creativity and if a page doesn’t turn out well not a problem, if you need more pages no problem... I made myself some sketchbooks with different types of paper as well as watercolour albums. This inspired me to make my own journal since I can’t seem to ever find the right one! Thanks!
I have recycled old happy planners and used for art journal, vision board pages etc. I really like the way you used acetate and vellum in yours. Enjoy your videos and your printable. Thanks
These are beautiful! I got a Cricut for Christmas and plan to make some journals. I want to make a grimoire one and D&D character journal. Watching your video gave me so many ideas. Thanks for all you do.
Wow, you must have read my mind. I have a loose leaf writing planner I was trying to decide how I was going to keep it. I was toying with the idea of disks and your video has helped me make up my mind. Thank you!
Ooooh, you've definitely got my moon esthetic! 🌙 plus definitely given me some ideas for a few xmas gifts this year too! Love love LOVE these! Thank you! 😊
Wow😍 great idea! I Will do one for me! Always wanted a happy planner but i dont like the planner style that they have,so now i can make me one! But i Will use it for pics of my kids, like memoryplanning or something like that!😊 THANK YOU!🙏😘
These are beautiful and professionally done. I imagine a collection of this style of notebooks. Amazing job! May ask what you ended up using the notebooks for?
Awesome!!! But every time you say cardstock I wonder what weight of it you used. And wish you gave more info on the dividers tabs. Great video. Especially happy to learn about that double-sided tape and how much you use it for things I wouldn't have guessed it's strong enough for! And your little pocket ideas! I'm happy to see ARC has a smaller hole punch cause I'm guessing that's cheaper! Though been eyeing the We R Memory Keepers single disc puncher, $30ish, at my local Michael's. I was already leaning towards switching from my mini 3-ring binder to discs and your video just gave me more reasons to. For one: bookmarks! You really sold me with "less bulky." What do you do on the various types of papers? And journal cards? You can't even write on vellum, right?? P.S. Staples has nice little affordable sets of discs too by ARC. No hearts in them like the Happy Planner ones. Black. So just depends what people prefer.
Helo, hope you're all well, new subbie. 💖Love the journal's you've made and all the designs inside. Thank you so much for your videos ✨, as I'm new to disc journal's. I've just got 2nd hand Arc paper punch and other supplies you mentioned. Can't wait to try and make one. I was thinking a moon diary? Tara x
Would love to know what papers you used! Those are seriously speaking to my soul! Love the video and agree that this system is the best for making any size or configuration of journal! Thanks for the info!

Can some one answer this!? Happy planner mini, classic and big is it the same punsch? 😁
Piritta Collanius If you mean can you use the big punch for all their sizes, yes.
@@jtfirewalker thank you!😊🙏
Do you sell journals you've already put together
How many pages does these disc hold?
Kind of demonic for a child
? Not sure what you found demonic?? Especially since demons only exist in Christian fairytales .
