  • ❗ We rail against intrusions into our privacy. And then post our private information publicly. Where's the logic in that?
    ❗ Privacy and you
We criticize invasions of privacy yet freely share private information online, misunderstanding how public it truly is. Many people still post sensitive details publicly, exposing themselves to risks like spam and scams. Protecting personal privacy requires responsibility and a healthy dose of skepticism.

@@D.von.N then why are you assuming the millions of naive users care about their privacy??
Not to mention, how is microsoft even that big of a threat compared to everyone using google and android? How is windows even close compared to that?
Everytime google adds a dumb feature all they get is praise but microsoft? Oh no, they're bad people.
Im tired of this constant microsoft bashing when people use modern mobile phones but somehow see their desktop as the problem.
And its still the os, we aren't even talking about the apps and websites people use such as meta, instagram, RUclips, the list goes on and on.
Your browsing habits at this point and your social media usage are far bigger threats to privacy then windows ever is.
But of course microsoft is the easiest to bash everywhere. Somehow the recall feature is a massive dumpster fire, but all the crap google photos does? All the info google logs? And ofc, every social media site or even worse, app, games, etc etc log? Thats a non issue?
(Btw, im not criticising you. Im just saying im tired of microsoft getting such a massive bit of bashing when other services are just much worse).

Would need to know what account. But in general all you can do is carefully and completely follow the account recovery instructions that the provider gives you.
