The fossils that the ornithocheirus was based on are now re-named "tropeognathus". Ornithocheirus is a completely different animal while tropeognathus is also a completely different one. They are close relatives, however.

@@bkjeong4302 I saw the fossil when i was at the museum, 6 years ago, i think. He is not much bigger than the Tapejara, that was also at the museum. So, the " Ornitocheirus" is like a group of related species or is another species from other country that never came close to Brazil, diferently from the Troperognathus? Or is it like a hibrid of the two species? (Im Brazilian so sorry if my english is bad).

Imagine if the Hatzegopteryx gets introduced like this in Prehistoric Planet. Also, I like how he's basically a giant gannet in terms of ecology and behaviour, so a really grounded story. Also, just the music. This was my favourite episode as a kid cos it just felt so epic. Absolutely why he's one of my favourite pterosaurs.

    Inaccuracies of this Tropeognathus:
    A) It did not had a wingspan of 12 meters. It was way more smaller than it is portrayed in the documentary.
    B) It's no longer a species of Ornithocheirus.

Ornithocherius is a pterosaur which lived approximately 100 million years ago during the Middle Cretaceous Period. It was first discovered in the Cambridge Greensand in England during the 19th century. It had a crest that was not on top of its head, like other pterosaurs, but rather on the end of its beak.

Haha no this is in my recommendation because I've been watching people play as this Pterosaur in a game called Beasts Of Bermuda. The Tropeo was just recently added like a day or two ago or something. It's actually a kinda decent game for a small Dev team... But I do love Ark's representation of the Trope BOI. I actually did mistake the tropeo for the ornitho when it was shown as a teaser, I knew I recognised it from WWD lol but apparently that Ornitho name is outdated? I dunno.
