- The Falls of the Ohio, and the Ohio River in general are home to some of the biggest catfish around. Derek Katter is a man that targets them often, and today we're on the boat with him to see some of his methods of going after these big whisker-fish.

I love this. Older boat, older motor and older fishing rods. Anyone can catfish. No need for a 70 thousand dollar bass boat. Let's go !
Derek is an awesome guy!
Love the ingenuity of fishermen
The first thing I noticed was your outboard. I'm the same way. I have a 1981 Evinrude 35hp on my boat. I have a 1988 4hp Evinrude for a kicker motor. I have a 1978 Evinrude 35hp for a backup motor. All three still have factory compression. The fish don't give a dame about the kind of motor you got on the boat. You don't have to be rich to fish ;)
A Men brother
This is awesome!!!
Ole Derek Katter get em my dude
I get working with what you got but man that transom would make me nervous.I've had one almost come apart and its not fun.
where do you find shad? a few years ago they used to be everywhere. now i go out with my cast net and i can't find shad anywhere.
Same issue. Used to just go down by the boat ramps in Brandenburg, throw my net and have enough bait for the day. I do see schools of shad at Freeman Lake in Elizabethtown though
Nice work continue
What's your go to rod and reel or choice
Good times ! @03:05
That’s what’s it all about using what you got !
You don't see many old Johnson outboards anymore
Vids are never long enough
Now that’s what I’m talking about.
Right 😏
Ayyooo Kat daddy
I seen a picture of just the catfish head. What happened
The third blue would have been dinner,
