    So wonderful! I love the message, to return to our roots in the natural world, then go from there.
    The filmmaking is beautiful too, thank you.

    What's your take on the 'dog man' phenomena? Do you think it's somehow related to this ? There seems to have been several accounts of 'werewolf' activity (often backed up with video and photographic evidence) of late. A friend of mine called James who is an amateur photographer went out into the peak district to take some pictures for his Facebook portfolio just before lock down and claimed to have been stalked by a mysterious figure with a long snout like face and pointed ears that stayed just out of his eye line but was seen in fleeting glimpses ducking behind dry stonewalls or darting between trees which is consistent with the behavioural patterns reported by other witnesses to these entities both in the U.K. and the States. He put it down to someone playing 'Halloween pranks' on him despite this occurring in mid July rather than October, and it seems rather strange that someone would go into all the time and effort of creating an elaborate costume and lurk in the middle of nowhere alone on the off chance someone might pass by for them to punk. My parents live in rural Dorset and there are reports of a creature known as the 'Wessex way beast' that was filmed bounding across some motorway lanes on CCTV nearby where they live. This clip has been doing the rounds on various paranormal channels on RUclips for a few months now with no definitive analysis or explanation for what it may be. I used to love hiking and camping out alone but these reports and sightings along with other strange encounters I have had has put me off of this past time I must admit.

      Wow that's sounds fraky. The Black Beast. When I was on Dartmoor camping I was pretty sure an escaped big cat was prowling me! That's enough to keep me off the moors at midnight. There are loads of reportings of black dogs too. And who knows what other entities are out there? Great story though.

      @@TheWitchInTheWoods There is actually an unspoken element to the ABC (alien big cat) phenomena that is oftentimes not reported. on occasion they have been seen walking upright on their hind legs. sometimes their eyes are reported to glow (and not from eyeshine from light sources bouncing off of their retinas after dark ) and they have even been alleged to have SPOKEN to several witnesses. I worked for the national trust and there was an informal NDA that we were not allowed to talk about these reports or sightings either to tourists or even online. I have heard from several rangers that they have to use pseudonyms when discussing these things on social media as it may result in instant dismissal if they are recognised and reported but I have been unable to verify this. I have loads of weird stories from my days at the national trust that I heard in private from other rangers about ghosts, U.F.O.s, faeries, big cats, dog men, lake monsters, 'deerman' ( Herne the hunter type entities. one is alleged to live on the Windsor palace estate) and 'stairs in the woods' reports about random staircases with no other building structures in the middle of nowhere that just randomly appear and disappear. I'm thinking of writing them all down in a blog or a book. It's all fascinating but extremely weird stuff.

      @@stevendunkley8284 Yeah it is fascinating! ...Wait what!?... Staircase phenomena!???..okkidokee...!

    • @stevendunkley8284
      @stevendunkley8284 2 года назад

      @@TheWitchInTheWoods The staircase phenomena seems to be more prevailant in National parks in the States. I have only heard of 2 cases in the U.K. It seems to be tied in with parallel dimensions, 'matrix glitches' (which isn't something I understand to be honest but is something to do with quantum physics or wormholes from what I can make out) or possibly Faerie activity. The general gist of this phenomena is elaborate spiral or ornate staircases as you would see in gothic mansions but with no evidence of any other building or architecture present - just the stairs on their own. They just inexplicably appear and disappear. If encountered it is said you should stay away from them and resist the urge to climb them or else you can end up trapped in some sort of pocket dimension and become forever lost. Some people think they may be responsible for some of the missing 411 cases in American parks. In one particularly lurid case, a couple of rangers in the States encountered some stairs in the deep woods whilst seeking a child that had been reported missing whilst hiking with their parents. One of the rangers climbed them to get a better view and never came back down. Only his legs were retrieved neatly and bloodlessly separated at the waist and his upper body and torso were never found. There are plenty of accounts of these stories on the paranormal channels on YlouTube. Just search 'stairs in the woods'. Whether this is a real phenomena or just a creepy urban legend is debatable as physical proof seems to be lacking, but it is worth looking in to and coming to your own conclusions. Having witnessed many weird things I would never have thought possible personally I am inclined to have an open mind to this type of thing.
