  • This weekends camping getaway landed us in a beautiful spot situated right on a dam at a campsite called Wattle Chop, on the Stutterheim hillside. We arrived to overcast conditions and even had some rainfall our first afternoon , but woke up to the sun shining over our campsite through the weeping willow trees all around the dam. With absolutely no wind we basically had a double view from the reflections over the dam in every angle. So of course we started our day off with coffee on the fire. Then grabbed fishing rods hoping to catch. We even managed to find some 4x4 tracks around the area to scout around more. Did I forget to mention that there’s a zip line on the premises as well as conoes to float around the dam at Wattle Chop campsite & self catering cabins.
We had such a peaceful time and can’t wait for the next adventure ! If you liked this video or any of our others please give it a like and subscribe to follow our journeys.
