    I have Gutted seba Igor. After 3 years liner started to feel worst. They are 42 and I put 41 premium liner in, it feets very good. My feet are 27+. Would post a photo but I think it is inpossible in YT comments :)

    Can I jusy simply put smaller and thinner liner without completely gutting it? Just remove the tounge only.
    My seba cj2 size 41 and need to downsize by adding size 40 liner.

      I would not advice top put an extra liner in your CJ2 skates. The you can also get a size smaller skates and it would work allot better.

    Was wondering to do it with my K2 uptowns, looking for info all over. My myfit recall kind of fits as is but I have an intution premium just laying around. So scared need to put km on them first, but I assume with the intution in it will be much more responsive

    I'm visiting you guys in Amsterdam early next month. I'm hoping you guys have a pair of Rollerblade Crossfire for my 270mm normal width foot. I see you only have size 42, which I'm hoping is right for me. If so, can you reserve a pair for me? (I already bought the flight tickets so I'm going yes or yes!)

    Funny thing, the other day I’ve commented with my mates that I should be gutting the Seba CJ Carbons really soon, but was a little bit scared of doing it, now, I have the option of sending them to you or doing it myself, so that’s awesome!

      @@Thisissoul absolutely fantastic for the fast and helpful reply but I’m nowhere near where i would even consider gutting a boot and when i’m there skillwise i will probably visit your shop :D just love your videos and wanted to give feedback

    Thanks for this guide, been pondering about gutting my CJ's for quite some time but I kinda want to wait till I wear down the original liner a bit more.

    Justin Thursday has a series of RUclips videos about gutting Deshi carbons and the later USD Carbon 2 and further on.
    Did it with my own USD carbons, just make sure that you have the correct sizing, as that glued liner is thinner than intuition liners.
    (Depending on my carbon, I’m using either the 909 Ridder Intuition liners or my Reign v3 liners, where the Reign v3 is better with narrow toe boxes.

    • @Thisissoul
      @Thisissoul  5 месяцев назад +1

      yes! saw his video as well.
      Good to hear that you were successfull with the usd carbons!

    Great clip! I actually have a pair of K2 Unnatural (size 40,5 EU or 26,5 cm) that I was thinking of gutting (since the padding started to fail on its own from wear). Question is, what liner and what eize could work for this boot and size? I would greatly appreciate your answer. Have a wonderful day!

    • @Thisissoul
      @Thisissoul  5 месяцев назад +2

      exciting! I would take the size 40 liner then. disclaimer, we never tried to put a size 40 intuition liner in a size 40.5 gutted k2 skate so our guess is as good as anybody elses.

    This guy explains things really well. Is Seba a European brand? I think they use EU metric. It gets confusing for me when I’m used to US metric.

    One question, after gutting, if we remove the upper part of the liner completely (the part where you have the last 6 lace holes), is it possible to have a skate that mimics the Faction Tactical V1?

    • @inline_skating
      @inline_skating 5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there, i left the fabric around those top holes in place because the grommets hold the plastic insert together inside the soft exterior

    • @inline_skating
      @inline_skating 5 месяцев назад +1

      but cut out all the filler between the holes completely.

    • @Thisissoul
      @Thisissoul  5 месяцев назад +2

      Yes the skate would then have more forward flex similar to a faction skate

    • @LeslieJones_RSTRCTD
      @LeslieJones_RSTRCTD 5 месяцев назад

      I have cut away the top part of my USD carbons. What cuff would you recommend mounting on USD Carbons, in stead of the regular cuffs, as these are not supporting enough, or will you supply Faction cuffs in the near future, @Thisissoul ?

  • @inline_skating
    @inline_skating 5 месяцев назад +1

    Thanks to thisissoul, I'm already gutted my CJ, interesting fact that CJ size 10(43EU, 28cm) perfectly fit with intuition liner 10,5-11 (43,5-44,5 EU, 28,5-29cm) just magic😂

    • @xywy8
      @xywy8 5 месяцев назад

      Because plastic 43 and 44 are the same shell plastic size but in 43 are added foam on the toes to fit. After gutted you have 44, I have 44 prime plastic with 28.5-29 cm intuition from UFR with my 28.6 right and 29 left shells are little to small on left but added extra insole under the liner and now are great, I feel the end of the shell but don't make me any discomfort:)

    • @inline_skating
      @inline_skating 5 месяцев назад

      @xywy8 but i gutted the carbon one, and they are true to size, but standard liner is tooo thick

    • @xywy8
      @xywy8 5 месяцев назад

      Oh that's interesting, I have one question for you how wide yours feet are ? Mine is like 10.5-11 cm and I feel it could be wider boots

    • @inline_skating
      @inline_skating 5 месяцев назад

      @@xywy8 both feets are 11cm, but my feet are very low, maybe that's why 43 EU 28cm was enough wide, with my 11 cm wide and 28,3 cm long feets 😁

    • @xywy8
      @xywy8 5 месяцев назад

      Good to know thanks, I'm looking for 44 CJ carbon but I'm afraid they could be not as wide like plastic version. I have gutted SX carbon 46 with CJ forys liner and added intuition butterflies to fit better.
