MADONNA RISING Part 4 of 7.
In this segment, Madonna and friend Rupert Everett continue their exploration of her early New York beginnings by paying a visit to the Deli that she would purchase her peanuts and popcorn from when she was on a dollar-a-day budget in the early 1980s.

Madonna BCE (as in Madonna: Before the Common Era), focuses primarily on her pre-fame days from 1978 though the release of her second album "Like A Virgin", which skyrocketed her to international stardom in 1985. "Sssh! Don't jump the gun!" Hahaha, my friend and I used to go around saying that each other after we saw this on VH1 back in the day. We still do it to this day whenever we see each other.
I wish all my daughters can take a leaf out of Madonna's book.. its good they already love her!

we used to go to a Madonna´s concert in 2008 for just 5,000 pesos and now the MDNA 2012 cost 10,000, well, she could cut down her prices next time to fight inflation

Its at 374 8th ave..I think it's closed permanently...I used to go there all the time! Chelsea star hotel madonna lived at is right around the corner and so is Madison square garden:-)
