As a Thai I can't question Paddy's selections. But I want to add some more provinces that are also the top places for our fellow Farangs who are interested to try the also popular places where us Thais love to take our vacations at. My recommendation is:-
-Kanchanaburi - River Kwae raft stay, SaiYok waterfall, temples, jungle adventures etc.
-Korat (Nakon Ratchasima) - National parks, waterfalls, valley camping, wild life / bird watching, , ancient ruins, dairy/winery/vine orchards visits, etc.
-Prachuab Kirikhan - different beach, islands, etc.
-Ayuthia and Sukhothai - bunch of ancient city sightseeing, Bang Pa-In summer palace.
And yet another Farang well-known places that are missing from Paddy's list :-
    -Krabi
-Bangkok; only this one isn't a visit for nature, but BKK has so many things to offer that even myself as a Bangkokian never got bored to revisit.

Great Recap of your Province specific videos. As a part time resident of the lovely and overlooked Phatthalung province I am happy we made your list in the top 5. Most folks just blaze on past us driving south to Hat Yai and never get off Phetchkasem Road to see what treasures we have in store. It's a curse and a blessing not to be on most peoples travel radar. Another great thing about Phatthalung is that in 3 hours I can be in Krabi or Khao Soak, I can be in either Trang or Hat Yai in just over an hour and Hat Yai has direct flights to Chiang Mai, So you can avoid the Don Meung connection Ive had breakfast in Hat Yai and lunch in Chiang Mai and its nice to ditch the oppressive Southern Thai heat for the somewhat refreshing Northern Thailand winter nights. Great content as always Paddy

I've been through six of these provinces, but mostly on the move to get to another destination with the family for business or extended family gatherings in Nakhon Si Thammarat, or to plantations west of Hua Hin in lush valleys surrounded by jungle covered mountains. When I'm riding in the family pickup truck, I'm going to petition to stop for a longer stay at some of these gem provinces. I cry, "Please do this for your "farang" in-law, dear family" -- However, the family has shown me the more cultural side of life in Thailand. I'm right in with the mix, which I'm grateful for. Yes, we often drive on through Surat Thani without a stop -- Same as me driving past Niagara Falls in Canada, with the same shrug. No more! Thanks for this episode, Paddy. Now, because of your adventures, I am more knowledgeable to make a few sidestep-getaway plans for the family. As well, this is great for myself when I break off for my personal adventures where I often sit in with bands and take solo hikes that scare my wife. 55555!!!!! ("Ha" = 5) dcb

Hey Paddy. Love how well-researched and prepared you are. At very least, we get to live vicariously through you. Thank you. My question: I'm a competent motorcycle rider (actual motorcycle) here in the states (where, most of the time, people follow traffic rules). Therefore, I feel like I could safely navigate a 125cc scooter pretty much anywhere. Yet, one hears about the exceptionally high rate of road fatalities in southeast Asia. I think Vietnam, where not observing road rules somehow kinda works, still holds the record for such accidents. For navigating from BKK northward to Chiang Mai (or southward to Krabi), if time permits, would one recommend making a go of traveling by scooter the whole way? Or better to just fly then scoot? Peace to all you other wander-lusters. Just pull the trigger and go!

Hey Paddy, can you tell me how you edit your audio from a video into another video and make transitions like you do from one video where you’re showing a place to the next where you’re just talking?

Thanks for your nice video. I visited 8 provinces except Trang & Phatthalung in your top 10 bucket list. Top 3 provinces in my favourite also. Chantaburi beautiful province but i will not keep in top 10. krabi should be come that number. I think you didn't explore all in krabi. Sorry this is my own opinion.
