I think as we get older, lighter colors are more flattering (for ex., Barbara Walters started out as a dark brunette, but over the years became lighter and lighter to a bronde color, which was very flattering). Thanks for the specific measurements and cap info. Affair should fit me perfectly, and I’ve been wanting a longer hand-tied wig. Hope there’s a cooler blonde color in this piece!
Ellen Wille wigs are so realistic and natural-looking--pretty up there in price though but worth the purchase if you can afford it. Looks great on you, Kim!

I have a 21” circumference and even with a wig grip have a difficult time getting them to stay on my head - so I appreciate all of your details. One of my concerns with purchasing is always whether the color is neutral, gold or ash. Any red? It is very hard to ascertain those things in the videos. I, too, think this color is GORGEOUS for you! But, as someone who finds wigs that fit properly a challenge, I understand your dismay. I appreciate your specificity in all your reviews; here, due to price, I do appreciate it even more. Thank you. I have a 21.20 head circumference. Yet, sometimes, due to front to back or side to side, petites are equally tough to fit. I used to fit perfectly well in RW and JR. Now, it seems we not only have to worry about color variance, even in our most beloved shades, tried and true... it is also fit. Something has really changed. My question is that I love some styles from Esthetica, ROP, and Noriko, too. I am reluctant due to cap sizing. What could you suggest? I love the wavy styles, and I own some. Dalgona is my best! WHAT OTHER COMPANY CAP SIZE WOULD BE THE MORE PETITE/ AVERAGE SIZE CAP. I am also loving that new Sunlit Blonde from Estetica, as well as some from ROP. Please point me in the right direction. Hi Lauren, thank you so much for stopping by! I find that Noriko and Amore run petite average. Most don't fit me. Estetica runs pretty much the same as Belle Tress (larger end of average). Are you a member of our FB page? One of our admins put up a video yesterday showing how she makes her caps smaller (she has a 19" circumference). Raquel Welch Elites and hand-tied caps also run smaller than the regular cap. You may want to give one of those a try. xoxo

I forgot I own Affair in Sandy Blonde Rooted! I thought she sounded familiar! It’s still in the box because I didn’t realize it had bangs when I bought it, and I can’t seem to make bangs work.😔

Hi Marlene, I love this wig on you. I am building a collection of Ellen Wille wigs. I have severe hair loss, and the Hair Society wigs caps are designed for women with moderate to complete hair loss and are not meant to be worn over a full head of hair. Hi Linda, thank you so much for visiting. Yes, I knew this; however, I have Eclat, Esprit, Mirage, and Icone from this collection. Mirage and Icone fit me perfectly. With Eclat and Esprit, I had to almost criss cross the adjusters to have a proper fit. Affair has been the only one from this collection that ran petite. I think there's quite a variance in Ellen Wille sizing. I checked with Taz since she wears petite/average and has less and shorter hair. She found the same as I did with Eclat and Esprit. If you get either of these two styles, please let me know your thoughts on them. xoxo

I got it on a great clearance from the Beauty Nook. She fits me perfectly though. I have a weirdly shaped head, circ is 22.5 in and all other measurements are 11 in. I also have Fame from the HS collection and she fits like a dream. I have Dance and love it, but it is really small on me. The ear tabs are too far above my ears, which is strange given my 11 in. ear to ear measurement. In general, I love the feel and fit of my EWs, the pixies are all great, but I’m finding the others fit in a pretty haphazard manner. I’m in Europe right now, we are Canadian snowbirds who spend the winter in the south of Portugal. There is a wig shop in Lisbon which I think carries only EW. I’m hoping to go and try some on!

How does this color compare to Belle Tress Brown Sugar Sweet Cream and Raquel Welch SS12/22? I have been wearing Raquel Welch 12/16, Belle Tress Nutella, and Envy Toasted Sesame or Light Brown, and I have decided I want to go a little lighter, so these are some colors I have been considering. I've been at a warm light brown. I'm 60 years old, and have been thinking I need to gravitate towards a lighter bronde, dark blonde color. I don't want to start looking too old for my hair!

Thank you! Yes, you are correct. That's why I said in the video the fibers seemed drier in comparison to my other EW. It's a beautiful wig, but doesn't have the same movement as some others. xoxo

Affair has a hand-tied cap, full mono top, and an extended lace front; these features are top of the line and increase the price of the wig plus Ellen Wille wigs are impeccably constructed. I do review many wigs that are much lower price that don't have a hand-tied cap or full mono top; however, all the wigs I review are medical grade wigs which means they are constructed to provide a natural appearance. If you look at some of my reviews of wigs by Rene of Paris, Mane Attraction, and Estetica, you'll see similar styles with a machine made cap and a much lower price point.
