Zoomies... what a great way to describe it. Mine barrels up and down the hall, and even though she's small, it sounds like a herd of buffalo thundering through the house.... :)
Good video with sensible advice on having a muzzle if needed but I'd recommend every dog owner to check on rules for their specific breed in the country they are going to. E.g., I own a Rhodesian Ridgeback which doesn't register as a problem breed in the UK for a ny reason at all but is restricted in ROI. It would have to be muzzled at all times and never allowed off lead and not knowing about these requirements could land you and your dog in big trouble
Kat on the subject of special pet stores they do have them in Confolens and St Junien which also have a good variety of different types of animal feed.
Hi there. Thanks for the info. It was definitely helpful. If you're going to cold countries, I can recommend getting an Equifleece dog suit. They're excellent but getting them on can be a bit tricky. Have plenty of treats on standby!
Hi Kat - Love your videos - you make everything so easy to understand! Question I am struggling to find an answer to on Google on the “one trip” aspect….we are planning a road trip with our dog: England - Netherlands - Germany - Denmark - Norway - Sweden (possibly Finland - Estonia - Latvia - Lithuania - Sweden) - Denmark - Germany - Netherlands - England. Since we are leaving England, entering the EU (Netherlands), then leaving the EU (Norway) to come back into the EU (Sweden) to then come back into England, will our one AHC obtained in England before we go be enough to cover that trip? Is it only re-entry to England that can be done once per certificate? Or will we come unstuck when we try to get him in and out of the EU before coming home? For completeness, we will get him tapeworm treatment before Norway and then before coming back to England. Thank you so, SO much in advance xx
Hi Kat great video. Reminded me to get a dog tag! We’ve been looking at 12v vacuum cleaners. Can you recommend any please? Which do you have? Many thanks Sarah X

Such helpful hints on travelling with your dog, thank you Kat and Mac who is a beautiful example of a Welsh Springer Spaniel.
Hi, the tapeworm requirement for Finland is nothing to do with the UK, you need that for any dog entering the country, not just direct from UK :)
Yup. Same for Norway & Malta.
HI. You mention a backpack for cycling with your dog. Could you tell me which one you use please?

I use my old Dyson V6 from home, just the handheld part, and I got a 12v adapter for it.
