18 days till St. Patrick's Day! (filmed on 2/28)
People seemed to enjoy the last accordion video I made:
• The Donegal Mazurka
So I decided to attempt another one. This tune really challenged me and took FAR longer to learn than expected, painfully reminding me (and anyone within hearing distance of my practice space) of my rookie status as an accordion player.
The tempo I selected might be more conducive to "plodding along" than actually dancing. But, even slowed down, it's a very catchy tune and a fun one to learn and play!

Thank you! This accordion (Linda is her name) was a true gem that I stumbled upon - I feel very lucky! 🍀
Unfortunately a few of the decorative pieces have come unglued (if you look carefully you'll see some gaps on the piano side). Thankfully, I still have all the original pieces, but I am unsure what glue to use to re-affix them. Any ideas?

Haha, the world would certainly be missing a lot, wouldn't it? 😆
As for instruments: violin and drums are what I play most, but it all started with piano. Beyond that, I dabble in guitar and now accordion a wee bit... I think that's it!😁 I would really love to learn to play the harp someday.
