- In 1913, a girl escaped the company-owned parlor house where she'd been kept against her will in possession of company property. She headed south via rail to her family's home in Baker's Gap, TN. She was followed.

I kept hearing the sound of the railroad man and being astounded by the smoothness and familiarity of his voice yet having a slight unnerving quality. Then I realized its sasuke. Yuri lowenthall has out done it with that voice. Its so fitting for such a character. Great voice talent.

My grandma and great grandma were descended from the whole Appalachian region of southern Pennsylvania and Virginia. Your voice and storytelling bring their spirits to mind every time. I really enjoy and appreciate the work you all have put into this👏☕
As a child of the free state of McDowell Co now living in a WV city, I thank you for this. I've been following and listening for a long time now, and I know you from church, of course. I've only listened to the first 2 minutes of this chapter so far and I already know from the chills on my back and arms that I'm in for a hell of a ride through a twisted nightscape version of the sort of stories I heard from elders.
This episode began with the most gruesome scene in the show so far, and ended with Harry and Marv.
I've decided to start listening here because the way I wait for new releases, this channel should have wayyyyy more views.

Given their thematic ideas they're clearly both Inner Dark. But that doesn't mean they're unified. The actual old gods of appalachia seem rather...abstract
I wonder if We're going to find out how/why there is a pigman and what it is ?
