Sweet box! But I have to share my police officer story with you! I have several family members who were police officers so I do hold them in respect! My two oldest son’s served in the military and while my oldest was over seas, I saw a police officer come in to where we were eating. I thank him for serving and was going to shake his hand. Well he thank me and gave me a hug in appreciation! I posted on fb that I received my first hug from a police officer! My son responded with a comment what about him? Well, I wasn’t thinking police officer, because I saw him as a soldier! But he was an MP! So I was corrected about my first police officer hug! Lol! After all, military police are still policemen! 😁 Again, very nice box that some young boy will certainly enjoy! ❤👏❤️👏❤️👏❤️👏
Thank you to all the first responders for the sacrifices they make daily! I enjoyed watching you pack this box. It is going to make someone really happy. It was an honor to share prayer with you. You both should be very proud of your son. We need to let them know we are proud of them.
I am a firefighter. Where I live, it’s paid, not volunteer. I went to the police academy right after I got out of the Air Force, and had every intention of working in that field, but, the department wouldn’t let us work 40 hours to qualify for benefits so I decided not to do it. Firefighter training was more difficult than the police academy. I love being a firefighter. I’m hoping one day to be chief. I’m a single father. Their mother walked out in 2017. They took it so much better than I did when she said she was leaving us. I’m good now, but it was devastating to me. But, God is great.
What a great box, and I love those play mats. I imagine they might take up a lot of room in box, or do they fold flat easily? I love your theme and the prayer was wonderful. It might be of interest: that in an interview with Kristy Graham (a daughter-in-law to Franklin), she expressed some of her favorite things after a distribution trip. The back pack was really important as I guess many kids were riding to events on bikes and could get their things home more easily. Then of course later they had a utility back pack for school. That's when I first started buying and including string backpacks myself. Thanks for sharing and all you both do for OCC!😊
