A consequence is a result that follows something you do or do NOT do.
These results can be good or bad.
Stay up late past your bedtime?
The consequence - you’ll probably be tired and grumpy at school the next day.
If you get mad and HIT your friend.
The consequence - you’ll probably get in trouble because hitting is wrong.
If you don’t study for a test, there’s a good chance the consequence will be a bad grade.
If you’d paused to think about any of these you’d have seen the outcome and you could have changed your behavior.

PREDICT
ACT
Before you act, pause.
Ask yourself what might be the outcome of my action?
Predict the possible outcomes if you do or do not act.
Then, make a good choice.
Actions have consequences.
So make your life the best life possible.”
