This is a beautiful all original car. Rust proofing ( little yellow caps in the door wells ) definitely helped keep the rust at bay. And I bet that is original mileage. Great Mopar survivor!
Beautiful Charger SE . I bought a 1973 dodge charger SE in 1979 for $1250. Had 59,166 miles on it. Save my money delivering newspapers and I had my license when I was 17 years old. 440 Four barrel carburetor.
Green metallic with a white vinyl top and saddle interior. The car looked and smelled like a brand new car. I bet the horn does work Nick .
Amazing the original radio still works. The car is definitely very solid and it’s something to build on. It’s amazing that this Car has 150 mile an hour speedometer with a 318 motor.
Strange because my car had a 440 and it had a 120 MPH speedometer. Really all this car needs is a decent paint job and structurally this car is extremely sound. Another quality car from maple motors. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
For probably almost 50% of the horn issues are a bad ground run a new ground wire from battery horn will work

Looks like a nice survivor, wager the mileage is honest. Hard to chose between restore it or leave it alone. Decent price.
My first car was a 73 charger . Bought it in 79 for 700.00 and it was in better shape. God I miss the old days.
I owned so many cool cars from the 60s and 70s that would be worth a fortune today had I kept them.

This is a really clean rust free mopar. Slap Stick floor shift, probably a 318. Super original entry level late era muscle car and 48 years old!

Nothing has changed! I worked in a wrecking yard back in the late 80’s. I loaded countless numbers of those into the crusher. Never a 68-70.
They're just a little too big, the design is nice but too big
They are actually 2 door Coronets. The VIN starts with a “W”. The 68-70 Charger VIN started with an “X”.
Wow! That old Dodge charger was like magic, just turn the key and off we go! Several years ago, my dad had an old Dodge charger, it was a hand me down that had not been taken well care of. Getting that thing to start was like pulling teeth. You had to spend a lot of time cranking and pumping if you ever want to go anywhere in it. Not fun at all. Love that one though, Whoever had that old car took care of it

This is the most underrated model of the Chargers, I wish these get more attention then the one we commonly used to, love the popular one but this and other models I like to see more of, so yeah

The special edition charges the essays had that the grooves on landau roof the regular ones didn't have that
That charger is like top of the line for that year maybe missing power windows that's about it but has pretty much all the goodies you want in the interior that's like awesome interior for that car

Hey Nick when you get a Chrysler like that make sure you check with a torsion bars are at sometimes they rot in that area I've never had problems with them but a lot of people used to tell me that but I never had issues with it
.. I am spoiled from yesteryear.. This was a 3 to 4 k car in the early 90's.. And shipping quadrupled..!!

Hey Nick I used to own a 73 and 74 charger to 74 I had it was just a 318 two barrel but it drove so nice I mean just as nice as a Cadillac I couldn't believe it it was so smooth quiet it was just beautiful car

Sadly, Dodge designers screwed up on this one. Don't get me wrong...it is a creampuff...but an ugly design by Dodge. Ssfe travels Nick...spend time with the family and enjoy a much needed vacation. Lastly, thanks for bearing the weather to bring us these awesome videos. Cheers, brother!

I had same exact car same year ect and same kind of cream colored paint my interior was green it's a 73 Brougham hated mine it's probably 360 in it was a terd crappy weak motor in mine 727 Torquflite auto transmission on floor It takes a lot HP to move that tank my motor wasn't built unfortunately😅 I can almost guarantee that motor is a 360 if it's the stock motor
