this basses have a better tone than the muuuuch more expensive basses.

This bass sounds just like this in raw tone. No effect.
Do you still need the batteries on the passive settings?? Anyone??
No batteries in passive basses but this baby can switch between active and passive....so ya need a battery for that
Can anyone tell me if the passive mode can work without the battery??
Remind me in a week or so (by replying here), and I'll be happy to take out the batteries and see if it works.
Just purchase the batteries if you’re going to purchase an active bass...
I would hazard a guess and say yes (my active Stingray works when the battery is removed)
The tone kinda reminds me of a Gibson G3
My old fender sounds so similar :)
I wonder how it would sound with slap.

Made in china? The real one is from Canada.
parts are made in China but assembly is in Canada
