Thank you! I have one out on my porch, I love its fluffy fronds😊. I do mist it, however, because I live in a dry climate. From western Colorado

Hi! So what if the fronds get very long and not as bushy?

Usually a sign of to little light and they need to be moved to an area with a little more light or given a grow light of some kind.

There are a couple different kinds of "ferns" in the asparagus family plumosus and sprengeri are two very popular ones that are available in addion to the foxtail fern densiflorus 💚 they all look a little different and are commonly called asparagus ferns in nurseries💚

@@thatawkwardplantgirl thanks! My guess is I have a small/sparse sprengeri.

Why my foxtail is not giving new leaves and gradually dying

Possibly overwatering or underwatering. Check for root rot or hydrophobic soil(hard crunchy soil that will not absorb water). Also they are from south Africa so they like a lot of light. The second most common issue I see with these is people treat them like forest ferns and give them low light when they need a higher light. I hope this helps and I wish you luck with your beautiful fern💚
