- An introductory video to the Leopard Street OO Gauge Model Railway project, a brief overview of the current state, a layout tour and thoughts on the next steps.
I'm new with this camera and this sort of thing, the quality and production values will, hopefully, improve.

We're looking forward to following your progress. My grandson (12) has recently started to build a 009-layout and has been posting updates of it on his Dylington Model Railway channel, and he's really doing a good job of it. Anyway, we've jumped on board so we don't miss any progress... Cheers James 🙂👍
Ooo, very nice, can see what I'm watching later. OO9 is nice, can do amazing stuff even in limited space so best of luck with it. just hope to get onto scenic bits soon, thats the fun bit.

@aleopardstail we're looking forward to seeing your progress. On my grandson's channel, he's also got some videos of our OO guage just for fun layout, and some of them feature stop-motion animation, with people and car's moving. If you get a chance to watch them, let us know what you think 🙂👍
Looks an exciting project and will watch developments with interest, especially as my layout has stalled as no point in doing much more apart from run trains as a house move is imminent! Guessing that it is probably only one loop but if you can, avoid 18” or 2nd radius curves as despite what manufacturers say, some locos can have issues, but never had a problem with 3rd radius which will the minimum on my next layout.
hi, its a very good point. so far there is only one curve thats 18", the inner line climbing out of the storage area to the junction. this largely dictated by not wanting points over board joins and an accepted compromise. I am likely going to relay this area as the board here has a fault - its working so far.
elsewhere 19" is the minimum, also a bit tight. I will be running the track when its all powered up though specifically to see where will need attention, bound to be a few places.
Also the track spacing is tight, this is fine with the stock I have but wouldn't for example take Mk3 coaches.

its more iffy up close, can see a fair bit of correcting to do - I want the track on this lower level largely done, spend time testing and fixing before going upwards.

hi, funny you say that, my N gauge layout was designed to do that from the ground up, has a relay to swap controller source. I could do it here, its not hard to swap the feed inputs.
I do have a small "plank" layout, literally about 3' of set track I use to test DC stuff though
not a bad idea and a point so easy to overlook :)
