My absolute favorite actor ever. I still love his 1981 espionage film - Eye of the Needle - with actress Kate Nelligan, best of all. I'm just glad he was able to live 88 long years. RIP, dear sir. (I'd place him right up there with Colm Feore as Canada's greatest two actors.)

A great actor. It's a tribute to the US that he and so many other Canadians have to leave Canada to find an outlet for their talents.

It is sad that he htought he was ugly looking. He had a couple bad hair days, but beautiful eyes, and all those great movies, my favorite one is "PRIDE AND PREJUDICE" FANTASTIC MOVIE! The worse thing I think he ever did was getting into a relationship with Fonda! But, what a sad thing he is gone even though he had a long life of success and medical issues. He was a great actor non the less! RIP, condolences to his whole family!

I know that feeling I’ve always struggled with being able to look in the mirror and blow myself because there’s no matter what anyone says. It’s hard to convince yourself that if you have a healthy frame of mind.
