This could be the new grassroots. Even more so now with new companies coming in and bringing down pricing for good setups. For less than a couple thousand dollars you can have an amazing rig setup to practice and compete or go drifting with buddies on different tracks/areas. Compared to physically buying a car and then traveling to different tracks for thousands and hundreds of dollars every trip. Motorsports is a money losing hobby/career most of the time. It’s a very hard sport to get a ROÍ. I can’t afford going the traditional Motorsport route. I’m teaching my child on Forza with a controller until I can buy a new Sim rig setup. Every major car manufacturer has a sim racing team now as well. So we can get all the new race cars on iracing and such. Forza had Cadillac Racing and released FD cars years ago. So the potential is there. Can sim racing replace in person drifting. NO. But it can have a good place within that space and be enough to satisfy ppl and also bring ppl into the sport to eventually support the physical scene. Anyways. It’s a great opportunity and not everyone is willing to sacrifice their paycheck every week to go into physical Motorsports. Good luck to everyone!! ❤
Nate sick Sim setup i see a ton of drivers/drifters using them for training im just starting to build mine now that my first PC build is done but it's just for fun and great work 👍
That’s super fun dud, I have one year with my DD sim racing it’s really worth it and fun specially with a Best and realistic games for AC + ACC + DirtRally!! Good luck and have fun 🎉
They're a ton of pre-built PC's out there nowadays good enough to run programs like Assetto Corsa and Iracing. I would just make sure your computer has a processor that is up to date. You have enough RAM and a decent graphics card
The good thing about them is unless you upgrade, its a once off buy. No tyres, no risk of crashing car, no maintenance. Can race what you want when you want. Only risk is potential wrist/finger injuries if you're not paying attention :D
@@144.natehamilton gives you a chance to try new cars too. Ive been racing short course trucks and nascars on iracing. Being australian they're things I'd never get to be able to drive.
We were running laps in a rush car. Think about Karting, they do not need the clutch to shift, so you hover your left foot over the brake for better ON/OFF action on the track.
So sick to talk about this some time ago with you and now you got the full setup!
Can't wait to see the racing and drift progression man
This winter will be fun for sure!
Sim become such a great help, especially bringing people into all different kinds of motorsports especially formula drift. Cool seeing y’all have fun.
with "games" such as "city driving" they're great to teach kids how to drive on the road/road rules.
@@Mr_jz_12I don't think if you buy a sim you'd be buying basic ass traffic games
@@aftrnoon.ac326 look up the game. Its designed to teach kids to drive.

i highly recommend iRacing if you want to practice wheel to wheel racing against other people

Why everyone use left foot for braking ?

Practicing at lunch everyday until I'm #1
Let's see it!
Yooo
Did I get it 2 videos in a row?!?
Also the sim has helped sooooo much with drifting!! I know some of my friends use it for road racing and say the same thing!
