    Even after all her success and becoming a national treasure she was still extremely down to earth.

      She never let her success go to her head, she’d talk to anyone no matter what class, she’d talk to her milkman, her postman also in Scott’s book the day she accepted her MBE before she was due to leave she stood in her kitchen eating a fried egg sandwich in her pants ❤️❤️❤️❤️😂😂😂😂

    She's not doing too bad here. yes, a little bit of very early signs, but still for someone, who had started showing signs, of forgetting her lines, as far back as 2010, she's doing ok here.

      I can hear Bab’s /Peggy shouting to God “ Get Out Of My Heaven!!!!” 😂💯💎💯💎❤️ “Carry On “:Angel , we love you so much , and we’re all crying darling . Life won’t be the same without you Dame Barbara . Today, Friday 11 TH December 2020 , the world lost a true legend .
      Here’s my dedication to you sweetheart 🌹❤️🙏🏻💯⭐️👍
      Near a shady wall a rose once grew,
      Budded and blossomed in God's free light,
      Watered and fed by the morning dew,
      Shedding it's sweetness day and night.
      As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
      Slowly rising to loftier height,
      It came to a crevice in the wall
      Through which there shone a beam of light.
      Onward it crept with added strength
      With never a thought of fear or pride,
      It followed the light through the crevice's length
      And unfolded itself on the other side.
      The light, the dew, the broadening view
      Were found the same as they were before,
      And it lost itself in beauties new,
      Breathing it's fragrance more and more.
      Shall claim of death cause us to grieve
      And make our courage faint and fall?
      Nay! Let us faith and hope receive--
      The rose still grows beyond the wall,
      Scattering fragrance far and wide
      Just as it did in days of yore,
      Just as it did on the other side,
      Just as it will forever-more.
      Dedicated to
      Dame Barbara Windsor, DBE , born Barbara Ann Deeks; 6 August 1937 - 10 December 2020

    She has dementia yes, but fair play to her for going up there and trying! It doesn't define her. Her work does! Take it from someone who works with Dementia suffers.

    This isn't the Bab's we all know and love. Sadly a another national treasure is slowly fading away right in front of us. You lose someone twice with Alzheimers. Its the same disease that eventually got my grandma and grandad.

    • @goonie4055
      @goonie4055 6 лет назад +2

      Rhetoricalmuse what signs would they be? Had you have not read about her diagnosis recently would you have said the same thing.

    • @RhetoricalMuse
      @RhetoricalMuse 6 лет назад +1

      goonie:
      No I wouldn't.
      I would however think she was acting differently. Not knowing your own age is bizarre to say the least and she is more 'all over the place' than usual.

    • @goonie4055
      @goonie4055 6 лет назад +2

      Rhetoricalmuse I was just curious to why you made that statement. My age is irrelevant as is yours. To me she just seems overwhelmed and I can imagine that would be a tough situation to be in. I actually thought she articulated herself quite well given the pressure of the moment. She is also touching 80 did she say? I would rather wish her well than to point out publicly any infirmity she might have. I don’t want a to-and-fro here it’s not that important to me. I wish you well and also health.

    • @RhetoricalMuse

      *To me she just seems overwhelmed and I can imagine that would be a tough situation to be in*
      Tough situation? She is getting an award. Furthermore, she has been in the public eye for decades.
      *given the pressure of the moment*
      Read the last reply
      *She is also touching 80 did she say? I would rather wish her well than to point out publicly any infirmity she might have.*
      It's already public and I'm pretty sure she isn't reading this. It is also a good idea to point out 'infirmity' as it educates the public by bringing awareness.
      *I don’t want a to-and-fro here it’s not that important to me. I wish you well and also health.*
      Alright, Mr passive aggressive.

    • @goonie4055
      @goonie4055 6 лет назад +2

      Rhetoricalmuse well you must consider yourself a clinician or if you actually are then I trust your level of discernment. Your comment was not meant to ‘educate’. Gosh you put a lot of effort in to that last comment..... affirming my belief that you are not sincere. I won’t be replying beyond this.

    You can really tell she's ill here. As Scott describes it theres a change in character. That bit more serious and vulnerable. The sparks gone. So glad we had stuff like the Piers Morgan life stories just before she got ill x

    • @Harry-fk5of

      I think the spark is still there, the only sign is that she seems a bit more vulnerable as you said, otherwise, she seems totally in the moment
