8:18 - Ragatha getting high and seeing Gangle's mask for what it truly is (a monster) is pretty much what most food service people realize at one point or another. "Oh. they suck. I don't care anymore."
I don't know about "monster" but I think you're kind of on the point of it being something that's really not good. Masking your true emotions, wearing a constant smile and trying to remain upbeat no matter what..... that's scary. So I wouldn't say "they suck" more like "oh there is a lot wrong with them...... heh, but not my problem."
I don't think that was Gangle she saw. I can't prove anything yet, but rewatch episode 3 and look at Pomni's possessed face... The similarity is too close to be a coincidence. Something is trying to get out maybe? Possibly someone who abstracted or the result of what Caine meant when he said "If I start losing track of who's human and who's an NPC, there's no telling what could happen." And why he looked haunted when he said that it.
The moment you realize Gangle's sad mask is actually her face, while the happy masks are both figurative and literal masks. They don't actually make her happy. They just let her keep up the act.
I guess that Gangle's sad mask is actually her face, while the happy masks are both figurative and literal masks. They don't actually make her happy. They just let her keep up the act. It makes sense that there's a distinction. The sad mask is the one actually attached to Gangle's body while the happy masks are removable.
I thought that he was more freaked out that this clown girl he'd never met seems super into him and knows his name without him remembering giving it to her.
1:56 - This is actually a reference to a series of comics Gooseworx made in-between the pilot episode and Candy Carrier Chaos. These comics featured Pomni's "iconic unicorn horn" and her catchphrase "well it's possible." They're... very weird, better reflecting Gooseworx's strange sense a humor better than the series itself, if you can imagine that.
When Gangle talked about making your own web comic I think that she might’ve been talking about herself because we saw her drawing at the end
Yeah, I got the feeling it was essentially Gangle reiterating what their managers/people in their life told them.
Yeah, that was some pretty obvious projection if you ask me.
10:56 It just occurred to me. Pomni and Ragatha were the only ones who never saw the Gloink Queen that first time.

16:06 that Raggedy Ann and Andy reference was word for word. 😂
Ragatha is no Girl's Toy! :P
Gangle’s happy mask was plastic. AKA, it was fake.

10:07 If you look closely, you can see Gummigoo at least has some memory of Pomni

@@Sweet_Venom0027 Yeah, that's a possibility, but I'm hopeful to a fault.
As someone who used to work at fast food this was strongly accurate
